EXPLORERS: In addition to the daily activities at camp, our 3 & 4 year old campers will also have a weekly “Special Event” that matches the theme. While our youngest campers will not leave the school campus, they still experience exciting events like movie parties, fort-building, summer birthdays party, costume parties and in-house presenters! Special Events vary by summer.

VENTURERS & VOYAGERS: Our older campers (5-13 years old) will have the opportunity to experience weekly Field Trips OR Special Events. For off-campus trips, campers will be bussed via Dean Transportation to the venue (pre-planned and published for parents). Special Events will be on-campus and will not require bussing. Past field trips include destinations like Zap Zone, Hawk Island Splash Pad, Woldumar Nature Center, the Country Mill and Royal Scot Bowling Alley. Field trips vary by summer.

SUMMER DAY CAMP AT

WHAT IS PANTHER CAMP?: Panther Camp is a Summer Day Camp offered to all area students aged 3-12 years. Our State-licensed program offers three separate age groups, daily themed activities (indoor & outdoor), exciting events and even field trips for our older campers! New themes each week keep campers of all ages engaged and interested for a summer full of fun and excitement! LOCATION: Our Savior Lutheran School 7910 E. St. Joe Hwy. Lansing, MI 48917 (517) 882-3550 HOURS: June 8th - August 26th, 2015 Monday-Friday, 7:00am - 6:00pm (unless otherwise noted)

WHAT IS THE COST OF CAMP?: REGISTRATION FEE: $30/child or $60/family (max.) Explorers (3 & 4 year olds) $22/half day (less than 4 hrs) $30/full day (4 hrs or more) $135/full week (5 full days) Venturers &Voyagers (5 - 13 year olds) $30/day (min. 2 days/wk) $90/week (3-5 days) HOT LUNCH OPTION: Hot lunch will be available for an additional charge. Prices for hot lunch will be published prior to the start of camp for enrolled families. Campers not signed up for hot lunch must bring a lunch from home each day.

DOES MY CHILD HAVE TO ATTEND OUR SAVIOR LUTHERAN SCHOOL TO PARTICIPATE?: Absolutely not! Our Summer Day Camps are open to all local children aged 3-13 years. Approximately half of our campers attend other public or private schools or are home-schooled. NOTE: Our youngest campers must be fully bathroom independent to enroll and participate in camp.

Basics:

WHAT WILL MY CHILD DO AT CAMP? Campers of all age groups enjoy daily activities centered around the weekly theme. Each day offers outdoor large group games and free-play, art experiences, and indoor group games and free-play. Special activities such as cooking and baking, water games, sensory experiences and movie parties are included frequently throughout the summer, as well. Explorers (ages 3-4) will have the opportunity for a daily rest time each afternoon.

HOW DO I ENROLL MY CAMPER?: Registration can be completed online. A link to the application and registration materials is available at oslsummercamp.weebly.com or at www.oursaviorchurch.org (click on the “School” link). Your child’s spot will be held upon receipt of the application and registration fee, but all registration materials must be completed before your child’s first day of camp.
