Following weeks of innovative cooking our Year 11

SPORTS REPORTS

Year 10 Basketball - CCF 45-33 Hendon

CCF Year 10's maintained an unbeaten start to

the Basketball season with a solid performance

against strong opposition from Hendon. As al-

ways with Year 10 their was a huge pool of tal-

ent to pick from and all boys turned in strong

performances.

CCF established an 8 point advantage at half-

time and always looked the more likely winners

until Hendon stormed back to get within 2

points as the game moved into the last 10 min-

utes. Inspired by some tidy finishing by Joseph

Chidyausiku, Louis Rolloda and Jordan Ekpa-Epu,

CCF re-established the upper hand and finished

the game looking hungry for more points. Well

done to the following boys for excellent per-

formances:

Louis Rolloda, Jordan Ekpa-Epu and

Funmbi Latilo. Mr Ellis

Year 8 Geography

Year 8 have been looking at the geography of crime in their recent Geography

lessons. They have looked at local issues, inspected the area for signs of

crimes, and researched the London Summer riots. They are enthusiastic and

full of good ideas to lessen the impact, as well as the prevalence of crime in

Finchley. Well done Y8 Geographers.! Ms McEwan & Ms Dean
