Selected Dua from the Qur’an for Parents

رب ال تذرني فردا وأنت خير الوارثنيRabbi la tadharni fardaw wa-anta Khairul Waritheen

O my Lord! Leave me not without offspring, though Thou art the Best of inheritors [Qur’an 21:89]

الصالحني من لي هب رب Rabbi-habli minas-saliheen

O my Lord! Grant me a Righteous (son) [Qur’an 37:100]

الدعاء سميع إنك طيبة ذرية لدنك من لي هب رب Rabbi habli mill-lidunka dhurriy-yata(n) Tayyibatah. Innaka Sami'ud-du'a

O my Lord! Grant me from You, a good offspring. You are indeed the All-Hearer of invocation [Qur’an 3:38]

وأرنا لك مسلمة أمة ذريتنا ومن لك مسلمين واجعلنا ربناالرحيم التواب أنت إنك علينآ وتب مناسكنا

Rabbana wa-j'alna Muslimayni laka ma min Dhurriyatina 'Ummatan Muslimatan laka wa 'Arina Manasikana wa tub 'alayna 'innaka 'antat-Tawwabu-Raheem

Our Lord! And make us submissive unto You and of our offspring a nation submissive unto You, and show us our Manāsik (all the ceremonies of pilgrimage - Hajj and 'Umrah, etc.), and accept our repentance. Truly, You are the One Who accepts repentance, the Most Merciful.

دعاء وتقبل ربنا ريتيذ ومن الصالة مقيم اجعلني رب rabbij ja'alni muqeemus sal-laati wa min dhur-riyyati, rabbana wa taqabal du'a

O my Lord! Make me one who performs prayer and (also) from my offspring, our Lord! And accept my invocation
