Sat 4th Oct. 7pm: Harvest Supper & Dance A wonderful opportunity for people to join in the social life of the church. There will be people who would love to dance, share a supper, or even just be with others. It’s healthy to dance and fun to look at others as they dance. and Sun 5th Oct. 10.15am : Harvest Eucharist. Harvest, one of our oldest festivals, reminds us of nature, thanksgiving, food and this year we celebrate the Harvest of the Sea together with our local fishermen.

Looking Back

We’ve had some wonderful events during the last 3 months: our festi-val in June, “Corpus Christi” the Tea Club meetings, the Alton Abbey Re-treat and an outing to the Rushfield Gardens in July . Many other social occasions followed, most enjoyable was the Hymns, Pimms and Hog-roast on 17th August when over 70

people attended and joyfully sang hymns with Pimms and of course, fol-lowed by hog roast. It was a great fun!

Sat 1st Nov. 6pm: Bonfire Party Fireworks in the vicarage garden with Baked Beans and Jacket Pota-toes: Children love this event and though often regarded as a feast for the kids, people of all ages can join in provided they have a ticket. The evening ends in the hall with food and drinks.

and committee agendas, you can also download the Good Shepherd magazine and
