LOUGH DERG One Day Parish Pilgrimage to Lough Derg will take place on Monday 22nd May, cost of the Island €40

RAMBLING HOUSE The Rambling House Remembered By James Reddiough and Featuring Paddy Joe Tighe, on Tuesday 30th May. Local historian, journalist and author James Reddiough will give a talk on the Rambling House of Ireland. Featuring talented traditional musician Paddy Joe Tighe. A fabulous night to remembered. Doors open at 7.30pm. Talk starts at 8pm. Adm €5 includes refreshments. All ages welcome. Looking forward to seeing you all in our beautiful Thatch Cottage.

HOLY COMMUNION CHOIR PRACTICE

Choir Practice to prepare for Communion will take place after Mass next Sunday. Your attendance would b greatly appreciated.

ANAM CARA Anam Cara, the national organisation that supports bereaved parents, is holding a Bereavement Information Evening on Thursday 18th of May from 19:30 to 21:30 in the Family Centre, Chapel Street, Castlebar, Co. VTOS OPENDAY VTOS Swinford in partnership with Mayo North East are hosting an Open Day for unemployed adults who are interested in returning to education and training. KILMOVEE SHAMROCKS The numbers drawn in last weeks lotto Sat April 29th were 3,12,16,44. There was no winner. The next monthly meeting takes place in the club house on Tues 8th May at 9pm.

BEALTAINE FESTIVAL ‘17 Heritage night and launch of 'Kilmovee Bealtaine Festival', Monday night May 8th. Bealtaine is a time for young and old to celebrate together. (Inter-generational). At 'Cois Tine' each year we celebrate through music, song, dance and storytelling and this year is no exception. Local and visiting musicians, singers, dancers and storytellers will participate on the night, all ages are welcome. A great night's entertainment is assured. During the break homemade goodies will be served. Raffle on the night, with lots of prizes up for grabs.

Admission is free. All are welcome.

T his weekend we congratulate the boys and girls of the three Primary Schools in the Parish who celebrated, with Bishop Brendan Kelly, the Sacrament of Confirmation. We wish them every joy and blessing in life and pray the continued outpouring

of the Holy Spirit for their journey. We congratulate their parents and families and express gratitude to their teachers who have done so much to prepare them for this celebration.
