Time to finish our home: “Come Together” Campaign So far, 257 households have made Campaign gifts and pledges totaling $235,647. Thank you! We have collected $235,334 of the total pledged. We have decided to extend the Campaign in order to raise what we need for the new cross. Our plan is to have this installed in the Spring of 2016. Therefore, we invite you to discern what you might give, in order to put a cross on top of our church! Please visit our website for additional details on the project and don’t hesitate to contact us with any questions or input you have. In addition to the pledges reported above, parishioners at the Winter Social graciously donated $18,674 during the ‘Last Call’ portion of the evening. With the assurance of our prayers, Fr. Bob Weighner, Pastor: [email protected] Rick Lechusz, Campaign Chair: [email protected] We Are to be Transformed Today’s showing forth of God’s glory is filled with a light that aston-ishes and reveals. Jesus transfigured on Mount Tabor energizes even the sleepy apostles, who see but cannot get hold of it. They can be forgiven for not apprehending the full meaning of this extraordinary vision of a transfigured Jesus with Elijah and Moses. The whole of the Law and prophets is summed up here on this mountain. The transfiguration on Mount Tabor is handed over to us this Sunday. As Paul reminds us, it is we who are to be transformed. The light and life of the Resurrection are set forth here so we do not lose heart and fall entirely asleep. This Sunday looks to Easter. It looks to transformation. It asks us to lift up our heads and acknowledge the risen Lord as our light and our salvation. Copyright © J. S. Paluch Co.

Play and Pray We’ve created a “Wonderful Wednesday” opportunity for parents of young children to come together with their kids and play and pray at St. Anne. This is a free drop-in program from 9:30-11am the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of the month where parents/grandparents can bring their little ones (unregistered) to play together in the Multi-purpose room. This is a supervise-your-own-kids kind of a morning, but we’ll have a plastic kitchen and grocery store set complete with pretend plastic spaghetti and meatballs to say the traditional Catholic meal prayer over, some puppets including Baby Jesus and King David, and dress-up clothes, etc. and we could share snacks and songs and loosely organized play time together in a safe environment where Catholic parents could grow in fellowship with one another, swap stories of shared struggles, etc. Join us February 24. It’s going to be a great way to spend a Wednesday! In a safe space that cares for both parent and child!
