Those that don’t have an appreciation for the rental industry just haven’t found the right property management company, because Park Property has proven that renting can be an exceptional lifestyle – it can be fun!

With a strong presence on Twitter (@ParkPropertyMGT) residents and management often tweet back and forth! And their Facebook page says it all (facebook.com/ParkPropertyMGT). Park Property is modern, and uses social media to keep in touch with their thousands of residents and include everyone in the fun. Park Property Management has an extensive portfolio of residential rental buildings from Scarborough to Stratford, giving renters across southern Ontario

numerous options to call home. Known for exceptional customer service and well-kept properties, their buildings continue to be awarded Certified Rental Building (CRB) status through the Federation of Rental-Housing Providers of Ontario’s third-party-audited quality assurance CRB Program.

What sets their properties apart is the communities they foster. It’s the energy, time and money they put into giving back to the residents through resident appreciation events, community celebrations and through personal attention. It’s the effort they put into maintaining and improving buildings, suites and infrastructure – modernizing and updating for function and aesthetics, instead of leaving well-enough alone until it becomes necessary to upgrade or repair. place you love living – so easily done on Facebook – and the $200 referral bonus is a nice way for Park Property to say thanks for spreading the love.

Contests are exciting, and it’s always fun to see creativity, so Park Property also uses Facebook to run community contests. The recent photo contest was a riot, with submissions including – but not limited to – a grad ceremony, children, a great balcony view, pets, special moments and an ostrich accosting a car! The comments counted as votes and, in the spirit of the contest, many were absolutely laugh-out-loud funny. On Facebook, residents are no longer separated by location, everyone has the opportunity to interact.

Since it’s October it must mean something spooktacular is happening in the Park Property communities, and the latest Facebook post has put out the buzz about the company’s pumpkin carving contest, open to all current residents. Again, the judging will be in the hands of residents , the comments and votes on Facebook will determine the winner.

And not just pumpkins, Halloween is about so much more. Who needs haunted houses when you’ve got Wicked Widdicombe? The community at 63, 73 and 120 Widdicombe Hill Blvd. goes ghoulish every year, Park Property can’t get enough! But it’s not just Widdicombe and it’s not just Halloween either – seasonal decorations are just one way that the community comes together for the enjoyment of all. Summer barbecues and resident appreciation events

bring residents together on numerous occasions. Recently, as the assistant supers of 55 Livingston in Scarborough retired, Park Property invited the community out for the festivities of a proper send-off. They had also just completed a massive exterior reno of the balconies so it was an ideal time to highlight that as well.

At 66 Isabella, residents were invited out to a meet-and-greet and information night about the new building. It’s a great way to establish and encourage a sense of community instead of relying on introductions made after repeated elevator rides, bringing everyone into a festive atmosphere. The city councilor and management were present to mingle and answer questions too.

If it sounds like there’s always something going on at Park Property Management, it’s probably because there really is. From renos to updating and modernizing the properties and units, Park Property is always investing in improvements. Recently, the building at 6 Lamers Court in Tillsonburg was awarded CRB status, while a gorgeous new lobby at 2797 Battleford in Mississauga was just unveiled.

In fact all of the buildings are in the spotlight as new signage is being installed at every property. Phase one was just completed and phase two is rolling out to update and modernize the corporate look. While new signage may not be high on the list of priorities for current residents, the fact is, it shows great attention to detail and an interest in keeping the company current and relevant.

Between design and technology – the adoption of Facebook communication and the interactive website, parkproperty.ca, it means that the company is modernizing, looking forward to best practices, new standards and innovative ways of doing things. This motivation carries through to all facets of the business. The website, for instance, makes it easy for residents to connect with management whenever it’s convenient, not just during office hours, through the ‘Residents Only’ portal. Apartment hunters will find the website has some of the most advanced functionality, allowing prospective tenants to search out availabilities by area, price and size, with extensive info on properties immediately available.

When looking for a place to call home, it’s essential to find something that will accommodate your needs and grow with you. Having a sense of community and enjoying your neighbours and surroundings is just as important as your address and the price point – and all of these efforts illustrate that Park Property Management understands this – understands their residents’ needs. That understanding is what makes all the difference between a bad, good and great rental experience.

There are plenty of opportunities with Park Property Management. Take a look at their website parkproperty.ca follow them on Twitter @ParkPropertyMGT, or like them on Facebook, facebook.com/ParkPropertyMGT and see what they’ve got going on. After all, there’s still time to enter that pumpkin carving contest!
