Walgren Selcoater is a selective anodizing system that eliminates manual masking and shortens cycle times. With traditional anodizing, parts are manually masked and loaded onto racks for processing. With Selcoater, elec- trolyte and rinse solutions are moved to the parts. The system offers exceptionally repeatable oxide thickness, from “flash” to 2 mils, achieves results equal to rack anodizing with fewer amp hours, and is engineered specifi- cally for Type 3 hardcoat anodiz- ing. It is adaptable to Type 1 ! 2 processing with a different elec- trolyte. A typical anodizing cycle is 1 to 5 min. Circle 407 on reader service card

The Model 600-WRB includes washing, rinsing, and blow-off dry- ing modules in a small-footprint package for work cell applications. Fabricated in 304 stainless steel to resist corrosion by aqueous clean- ing agents, each wet process cham- ber drains to an electrically heated tank equipped with level sensors and automatic valving for solution

replenishment. The washing fluid passes through a removable strain- er basket, then is pumped through bag or cartridge filters that remove particles from circulation.
