MID SAPS - FUEL ECONOMY LUBRICANTOur Dyade Pirus EMS C2 passenger car engine oil is known for its C2 specification. This lubricant is intended for useage as catalyst compatible oil in vehicles with DPF and TWS. It is excellent for car and light van diesel and gasoline engines that are designed for using low friction. The Pyrus EMS C2 will increase the lifetime of the DPF and TWS and will maintain fuel economy of the vehi-cles.
Pyrus EMS C2 is developed to meet the MID SAPS requirements and provides a very stable lubricant film that results in very fast cold start properties.

ACEA C2ACEA C2 stable, stay-in-grade oil intended for use as catalyst compatible oil in vehicles with DPF and TWC in high performance car and light van diesel and gasoline engines designed to be capable of using low friction, low viscosity oils with a minimum HTHS viscosity of 2.9 mPa.s. These oils will increase the DPF and TWC life and maintain the vehicle’s fuel economy. Warning: these oils are unsuitable for use in some engines. Consult your own-er manual or handbook if in doubt.
API SN/CF The API SN refers to gasoline engine specifications. In 2010 the American Petroleum Institute introduced a new engine oil cat-egory under the name API SN and a new supplemental catego-ry called Resource Conserving. The API SN category is an im-provement over the API SM category in the following areas: high temperature deposit protection for pistons, better sludge control, better seal compatibility and aftertreatment compatibility.
The API CF refers to diesel engine specifications. Officially this specification is obsolete and replaced by the more modern spec-ifications. Services indirect-injection diesel engines and other diesel engines that use a broad range of fuel types, including those using fuel with high sulfur content, for example over 0.5% wt. Effective control of piston deposits, wear and copper-con-taining bearing corrosion is essential for these engines, which may be naturally aspirated, turbocharged or supercharged. Oils designated for this service have been in existence since 1994 and may be used when API Service Category CF is recommend-ed.
PSA B71 2290Peugeot/Citroën engine oil specification introduced in 2009. B71 2290 is a low SAPS oil intended for engines with diesel particu-late filters and with Euro 5 emission standards. General speci-fications are: ACEA C2 or C3 with additional PSA tests.
RN 0700Renault engine oil specification; introduced in 2007 upon intro-duction of the Laguna III. General requirements: ACEA A3/B4 or ACEA A5/B5.
