School Litter Pick
An enormous thank you and well done to everyone who collected litter on Tuesday this week for our
School Litter Pick Morning. It was great to see everyone making such an effort to keep Perranporth tidy
and do their bit for the environment. Both wheelie bins had loads of rubbish in them at the end of the
morning which is much better than having this litter on the streets. It was Year 3 who made the most
contributions which means that they will get a trip to the Energy Recovery Centre courtesy of Suez. We
would like to say a huge thank you to Suez, Faye Clifton and Green and Blue for organising these bril-
liant litter picks and being so supportive of our school and community! Thank you!
Year 6 - Secondary School Transfers
A reminder to parents of children in Year 6 that secondary school transfer applications
must be completed by 31st October.

Perranporth Beach Clean
If you’d like to go one step further in helping to keep Perranporth tidy, Surfers Against Sewage have
organised a big beach clean which will happen on the 26th October on Perranporth Beach. Everybody
is welcome!
Harvest Festival
A big well done to the children from Trevithick and St Piran classes for giving
such a wonderful Harvest Festival this week at St Michael’s Church. We
know the parents and families who attended very much enjoyed the
occasion and were just as impressed as the staff by the children’s fantastic
performance! Thank you very much indeed for all of the support from
parents during the morning - it’s much appreciated!
School Photos - Mark the Date!
Don’t forget to iron your uniform and comb your hair because school photos are booked in
for Wednesday 30th October - first week after half term.
Road Works & Parking
Apologies for the inconvenience outside of school because of the road-
works. This is due to the widening of the road as part of the Taylor Wimpey
housing estate works. Whilst these works are taking place, parking will con-
tinue to be challenging. Please remember that parents and carers can col-
lect a parking pass to use at the Wheal Leisure car park off Liskey Hill. Thank
