Demonstrate active listening in a group, by listening to the story of “Peter & The Wolf”.
Fully understand the musical meaning of a theme ‘theme’.
Be able to match the sound of orchestral instruments with a different character.
Describe personalities and movements of different characters by using descriptive words (adjectives).
Predict how characters will be represented by using musical vocabulary (pitch, tempo, dynamics & articulation)

It is a story and Russian fairy-tale that was originally composed for ballet.
It contains seven characters who each have a musical theme.
This theme represents different traits and qualities that represent each character’s personality, actions & movements.
