Students may also take up to 8 elective credits outside of CRIM, including courses in a graduate certificate. Qualifying Examination Preparation, Research, and Dissertation Work Throughout the program, students will enroll in various zero credit courses to remain full-time. These courses provide students with an opportunity to pursue directed studies, prepare for qualifying exams, and engage in dissertation work.
