DESIGN PROBLEM: Today, anyone with a digital camera will end up with thousands ofimages on their computer within a short span of time. If the photos arenot organized properly, it is difficult to find the needed photograph. Alldigital photographs have date and time information. The problem is todesign a photo viewing and organizing software that solely works on date on time information available in digital photographs. The proposed design should have a good photo viewing experience, and should also be easy to find photos. The application can either be a desktopclient, or a RIA application hosted online.

Fairly good memory with datesand time. Tends to associateany important event with its date.
SOLUTIONIn the proposed design, User has the liberty to search based on time or date or a combination of both.
It is a dynamic search with great narrowing down capablities where the user gets instant feedback.The interface is interactive and doesnt require the user to type in Date/time.
Poor at remembering dates.Makes associations fromlocation and time of the day (morning/evening/night) the picture was taken
PROBLEMNeed a seamless filtering ability based on respective memory patterns and associations.
Searching for anything is a tiresome process and dreaded.Need an efficient, effortless and engaging search that is not time consuming.
Rahul is a young photographer working in Mumbai. He is a lover of Arts, Sports and History. He is creative and often lost in his own world. Every month he travels to Delhi tomeet his girl friend. He takes pictures to document his train journeys and often digsinto his collection to use the images to create an artwork which he later uploads to his website.
PERSONA 1
Scenario 1 Rahul wants to make a poster based on aimage he clearly recalls taken 2 years back on Sep1,around 10 30 AM, just before he boarded the train.

Shipra is a mom of two in her mid-thirties. Her life is torn between her hectic life as a bank employee and her family. She is an expert at multi-tasking and seldom gets time for herself. She finds herself thinking of her college days often and when she gets time, goes through old time photographs and smiles at the good times she has had.
PERSONA 2
Scenario 2 Shipra wants to locate a group picture taken inthe past at a farewell party and compare it withtheir recent pics taken at a Goa re-union. She does not remember the exact date but only recalls that it was an evening farewell party.
