    CG, TCD & IR use the same circuit but aresetup differently (current)-can haveseparate heads for each

    Unbiased EC sensors can be interchanged

    by customer, recalibrated then run Readout unit will recognize type of PID or

    Types of Sensors-LEL

    LEL Two heated catalytic

    elements are set in ablock; one is sealed; theother is in contact with thesample. Each is in a leg of

    a Wheatstone Bridgecircuit. If the samplecontains hydrocarbons orcombustible inorganiccompounds, they will burnincreasing the temperatureof the sensors andchanging the resistance.The change in resistance isproportional to theconcentration.
