If students are using their cell phones during school, it will be taken away, and parents will be required to pick it up at the office. Parents, please help us enforce this rule by not texting your children during the school day. Additionally, if your child texts you to ask to be dismissed because they are not feeling well, please respond by reminding them to go to the school nurse. Pierce is a place of learning, not a place of commerce! Students are not allowed to buy or sell items while at school. Students are not allowed to bring in their own device to school. Pierce is 1:1, so students should be using their assigned Chromebook in school. Masks must be worn at all times in school. Masks much fit properly and be covering the nose and mouth. When a students leaves class to go to the bathroom, they must leave their cell phone in the classroom and take a pass. Passes should be hung outside the bathroom to indicate how many students are in the bathroom. No more than 3 students are allowed in the bathroom at a time. V LLEYBALL STUDENT VS F ACULTY Thanks to all who played in and attended this year’s Student vs. Faculty Volleyball game. A great time was had by all! All proceeds raised will be donated to Dig Pink, an organization that “actively searches for answers and treatment options for those living with metastatic breast cancer.” (https://side-out.org/) As a reminder if a student is applying to private school, the student or guardian MUST contact teachers and guidance counselors personally via email, phone call or conversation at least three weeks prior to the application deadline date in order to provide time for them submit all materials. Please make sure your child has completed the student information form as well. We appreciate your help with this. ABOVE: Pierce Cross County Team before the meet against Norwell and Cohasset BELOW: 8th grade Cross Country runners Keeping Pierce Clean Ms. Mitchell’s Connection Time group really enjoyed getting outside and doing something positive for their school community by learning up around the school. They already filled 6 bags of trash! Thanks to the PTO for purchasing the trash grabbers to help out with this project!

Thanks to all who played in and attended this year’s Student vs. Faculty Volleyball game. A great time was had by all!
