Over 300 people make their living from the local film industry.
The Pittsburgh Film Office markets the region to the film industry.
Non-profit, funding has come from the County Hotel Tax.

Project Proposal
To help create a marketing campaign raising awareness among local Pittsburgher’s of the Film Offices efforts to bring film productions to SWPA.
The Big Idea
Partner with Blockbuster, to create a local film section in 20 local Blockbuster video stores, highlighting the films made in the region. Campaign to include Point of Purchase displays, strategic brochure placement, product labeling and radio spots.

Pro bono assistance from graphic designers David Atkins (printCafe) & Harold Behar (Behar-Fingal).

Brochure & StickerThe film office had no collateral material for the general public, so we created some. The sticker was designed to be affixed to the video boxes of “movies made here.”
Radio Advertising
Broadcast on 5 local stations, including 102.5, 105.9, 96.1, 100.7, and 94.5.

Since the “Movies Made Here” campaign is a public relations initiative, the group resolved to announce the results of our project to the local media. The result is this press release!
