What is it about Planet Baobab?An accessibly priced and family-friendly adventure safari into the magnificent Kalahari Desert and Makgadikgadi Pans. Experience something of Botswana’s culture at the baobab capital of the world!

What do I need to know?• We welcome all ages!• The desert can get extremely hot in October.• Stay hydrated! • The water in Botswana is safe to drink.• Water is a scarce resource in Botswana,

so please try to conserve it where possible.

Where will I stay?• 3 Family Bakalanga Huts (sleep 4),

with en-suite bathrooms.• 8 Twin Bakalanga Huts (sleep 2),

with en-suite bathrooms. • 7 Baobab Huts (sleep 2),

with en-suite bathrooms. • 6 Twin Dome Tents (sleep 2), with fully

made up stretcher beds, close to the communal ablutions.

• Public Campsites – with the best ablutions in the Kalahari.

• Overlander Campsites – with equally cool ablution facilities.

What will I eat?There is a choice between an original a la carte menu and three course set meals. Meals at Planet Baobab are comprised of interesting and delicious dishes from all across Africa and we are “vegetarian friendly”!

• 8 Twin (sleep 2). Two single beds on either side of the hut. En-suite bathrooms.

Zebra & Wildebeest rely on the Boteti River during the Dry Season & migrate East to the Makgadikgadi Salt Pans in the rainy season, and stay until the waterholes dry up.
