The California Center for Sustainable Energy administers California’s Clean Vehicle Rebate Project (CVRP) for the California Air Resources Board. The goal

of the CVRP is to promote the production and use of zero-emission vehicles, including plug-in electric, plug-in hybrid electric and fuel cell vehicles.

• Funded through the California Air Resources Board (ARB) and the California Energy Commission (CEC)

• Funded by vessel registration, vehicle registration and smog abatement fees

Elements of Eligibility for CVRP

Individual, business, nonprofit or government entity based in California or has a California based affiliate

Purchase or Lease a NEW eligible vehicle

Own/lease the vehicle for 36 consecutive months (including CA DMV registration)

• Mail in supporting documents• Check mailed to applicant within 60

days
