• What is a podcast?– Podcasting, a word formed by combining the
name of Apple's "iPod" and "broadcasting", is a method of publishing files to the Internet, allowing users to subscribe to a feed and receive new files automatically by subscription, usually at no cost. How to I create a podcast?
• Record you sound file using a standard computer microphone (~$10.00).
• You can use the Windows Sound Recorder or a separate program like Audacity.

• If you use Audacity to record your presentation, you can edit the sound file and export the file as an .MP3.
• If you use Sound Recorder, you cannot edit or export the file as an .MP3. You will have to use another program to export the file. MusicMatch Jukebox is a popular program that converts .WAV file to .MP3 files.
