ENGINEERING DESIGN
MANUFACTURING CAPABILITIESConcealFab has an integrated design and manufacturing floorspace. New product designs can be rapidly prototyped. Lean manufacturing principles are utilized to maximize efficiency and eliminate waste. Poles can be quickly manufactured with a state-of-the-art CNC plasma cutting machine and an in-house welding department.
Structural All poles are engineered to withstand southern Florida wind speeds and southern California seismic activity. They are rated against TIA-222 REV H, AASHTO and/or IBC standards. Each structure is reviewed and sealed by a Professional Engineer.
ThermalPoles and attachments utilize strategically placed vents for thermal cooling. They are thermally tested and certified by the radio OEMs to ensure optimal performance.
RF CapabilityConcealFab has in-house mmW testing capability. Our anechoic chamber is utilized to qualify all current and new materials, with additional testing and certification performed by OEMs.

Attachment poles are traditionally slimmer in profile, lower in cost, and can serve new or replacement sites. These poles come in a straight, smooth profile and are strong enough to externally mount a variety of 4G and 5G attachments, luminaire arms, and power equipment near the base. They have strategically placed handholes and conduit holes for convenient wiring accessibility.

Concealment poles are more aesthetically pleasing and can conceal most of the power and radio equipment within the pole structure. These poles are commonly used in a smooth profile, while a fluted profile is available for more decorative sites. Low-power 4G equipment is mounted near the pole top for maximum RF performance. The optional pedestal base provides high-power 4G radio mounting options. Strategically placed handholes and doors allow for convenient wiring accessibility. SHEATHING OPTIONS
ConcealFab poles have straight, non-tapered profiles and are available with two sheathing profile options. Smooth poles are designed to replace traditional street and roadway lighting standards. Fluted poles exhibit actual flutes and are designed to replace decorative lighting standards. Each pole is made of galvanized, high-strength carbon steel.

ConcealFab uses an innovative multi-layer coating process in order to create the most durable finish possible. We
recognize that Utility standards require an extended pole service life and expect that structures withstand UV, salt
spray, pedestrian wear and tear, and even vandalism. ConcealFab is the only pole OEM to provide pole attachments
and 5G radio color matching options from a single source, ensuring correct color matching. This greatly benefits
discussions with permitting jurisdictions.

Poles can be designed to either externally or internally mounted power equipment. The 12” Smooth and 13” Fluted poles allow the power meter and disconnect/load center to be mounted inside the lower section of the pole. Meter doors can be “Smart Meter” compatible.

Low-power 4G equipment can be mounted inside the pole top unit while high-power 4G equipment can be mounted inside the base pedestal or side mount shroud. ConcealFab supports a wide range of radio OEMs including Ericsson, Nokia, Samsung, and Airspan.

The Universal Cantenna Sleeve can adapt to each cantenna style in the market including Commscope, Kathrein, Amphenol, JMA, Gamma Nu, Galtronics, CCI, Ace, and KMW cantennas. Each antenna has a uniquely designed cable shroud to hide cables and provide a clean, aesthetic look.

ConcealFab’s 5G Modular Shrouds are designed to cover the bottom, sides, and mounting brackets of the 5G radio. The shrouds are made of vacuum-molded plastic. Modular shrouds contain custom mounting bracketry that is slimmer than the OEM brackets and has 10 degrees of azimuth adjustability.

ConcealFab’s downtilt bracket paired with our 5G modular shrouds allows for up to 20 degrees of mechanical downtilt. The downtilt bracket is structurally rated for South Florida winds and can be banded to a variety of different pole diameters.

ConcealFab’s Jettison ShroudTM allows poles to be deployed with 4G technology. Once 5G expansion is required, the Jettison ShroudTM can be removed and the site can be upgraded using a variety of 5G shrouding solutions.

ConcealFab’s Hexagonal 5G Mid-Pole Shroud is designed to house 5G radio equipment on the middle of the pole. The universal shape allows for the deployment of either Ericsson or Samsung radio equipment. The 5G radio equipment faces are exposed for maximum RF performance. Durable panels cover the faces of the Shroud that do not contain radios. Venting is provided by screens placed on the top and bottom of the Shroud.
ConcealFab’s Cable Shrouds are designed to cover the power and fiber cables of the 5G radio. The shrouds are made of vacuum-molded plastic. These shrouds attach directly to the radio and are compatible with the OEM mounting brackets.

ConcealFab has partnered with 3M to provide a custom mmW vinyl wrap to color match 5G radomes to their surrounding environment. These pre-cut vinyl prints are pattern tested at 5G mmW frequencies to ensure minimal pattern distortions and losses. ConcealFab’s 3M vinyl is UV-Stable and impact resistant to last for years. The prints can be ordered in one of ConcealFab’s standard colors or can be ordered as a custom color or custom texture. For installation, ConcealFab can provide a list of in-market, 3M certified partners that can help with installation needs.

UNIVERSAL LUMINAIRE ARM OPTIONS
The Universal Luminaire Arm is designed to standardize the mounting interface and works with Attachment or Streetlight Standard pole products. The Luminaire Arm comes in a variety of styles and terminates with a 2” tenon which adapts to most luminaires.

ConcealFab understands the nuanced requirements imposed by Utility’s Standards Groups. This includes creating pole attachment EPA loading documents for quick reference to determine future attachment applicability. ConcealFab can also create Design/Inspection drawings that streamline Utility inspection of pole products prior to deployment. By creating both the structural pole solutions and the pole attachments, ConcealFab is in the unique position to help Utilities design for future attachments that Operators will need as part of their build plans.
DESIGNING FOR UTILITY STANDARDS
ConcealFab has experience with an array of power drop types in order to power the Operator’s wireless equipment. Solutions are available to support WTR (fused) power connections, Smart Metering, aerial power drops, or even “Saloon” style meter doors that expose the meter face for easy reading. ConcealFab can tailor pole solutions to meet each Utility’s powering needs.

FOUNDATION DESIGN
ConcealFab has experience designing foundations for deployment throughout the country. Selecting the right foundation involves knowledge of the pole’s base reactions, incumbent soil strata, and governing local preference. Traditionally, cast-in-place or direct-embed foundations are deployed. ConcealFab can help recommend a foundation type and provide a foundation design.
