CAMPUS LEONARDO, EDIFICIO 21, RIQUALIFICAZIONE DEGLI UFFICI AL PRIMO E SECONDO PIANOL’intervento ausiliario di cui all’oggetto si riferisce essenzialmente all’esecuzione di operedi manutenzione straordinaria da eseguirsi nei locali posti al primo piano dell’Edificio21 (ex Edificio 34) nel “Campus Bassini” del Politecnico di Milano. Nello specifico sisono rese necessarie opere, sia civili che impiantistiche, mirate al recupero e all’adegua-mento della totalità dei locali posti al suddetto piano.

Sono state concluse le opere di rimozione dei controsoffitti in doghe esistenti ed il lororifacimento con pannelli in fibra minerale, il completo rifacimento degli impianti elettrico,dati ed antincendio, la demolizione e successiva ricostruzione di alcuni divisori interni,la sostituzione dei diffusori dell’impianto CDZ, ecc.

I due piani sono stati consegnati al DEIB che li sta utilizzando regolarmente già dal mese di settembre 2015.

CAMPUS LEONARDO, BUILDING 21, FIRST AND SECOND FLOOR OFFICES REDEVELOPMENTAuxiliary intervention referred to object basically refers to the execution of works of extra-ordinary maintenance to be carried out in the premises on the first floor of the building 21 (former 34) in “Campus Bassini” of Politecnico di Milano. Specifically were necessary works, both civil and plant engineering, targeted at recovery and adjustment of all the local places to this plane.

Were completed the works of removal of existing ceilings slats and their reconstruction with mineral fiber panels, the complete renovation of electrical, data and fire, the de-molition and subsequent reconstruction of some internal divisions, the replacement of loudspeakers CDZ, etc.

The two planes were delivered to DEIB who is using them regularly from the month of September 2015.

Il nuovo laboratorio di Ateneo denominato POLIFAB si trova nell’edificio 30, via Co-lombo 81. Al piano seminterrato è stata realizzata una Cleanroom (mq 400 classifi-cati ISO 6 e ISO 8) e sono stati recuperati altri locali adiacenti per attività di supporto alla Cleanroom. Allo stesso piano seminterrato è stato realizzato il laboratorio NABIS di Polifab (mq 100), mentre al piano rialzato, sono stati completati circa mq 250 tra laboratori, uffici e spazi di servizio.

Il lavoro è in fase di collaudo.

MILANO CITTÀ STUDI CAMPUS, PIAZZA LEONARDO DA VINCI 32, “KREMLIN” BUILDING, CONSTRUCTION OF A POLIFAB LABORATORY

The new campus POLIFAB laboratory is located in Building 30, via Colombo 81. The basement has been fitted out with a Clean room (400 sq.m category ISO 6 and ISO 8) and other adjacent rooms have been restored for Clean room support activities. The basement now also houses the Polifab NABIS laboratory (100 sq.m), while the 250 sq.m mezzanine floor were completed house laboratories, offices and services.

The works are currently in the inspection phase.

POLO DI MILANO BOVISA - CAMPUS LA MASA-LAMBRUSCHINI - EDIFICIO 18 - REALIZZAZIONE NUOVO EDIFICIOL’intervento ha previsto nella realizzazione del nuovo edificio da destinare a laboratori integrati di tecnologie e processi chimici di ingegneria nucleare e delle radiazioni e di due fabbricati uno per il laboratorio per sperimentazioni di irraggiamento e locali di servizio ed uno quale laboratorio alte pressioni.

RESIDENZA UNIVERSITARIA “A. LOOS” - LECCOL’intervento di realizzazione della residenza si è concluso a febbraio 2015, con un anticipo di circa 30 giorni rispetto il tempo contrattualmente previsto. La residenza è stata inaugurata il 20 marzo 2015.L’intervento è consistito nel recupero del corpo principale dell’edificio storico urbano dell’ex ospedale di Lecco che insiste sulla via Ghislanzoni. Obiettivo dell’intervento era quello di creare un campus universitario che, accanto ai luoghi per la didattica e la ricerca (Nuovo Polo Universitario del Polo Territoriale di Lecco), disponesse anche di spazi per l’accoglienza.La scelta di localizzare la residenza universitaria nell’edificio principale dell’ex Ospeda-le nasce inoltre dalla volontà di creare un legame forte tra la città e l’università, secondo le linee che hanno condotto tutto il progetto della nuova sede universitaria. Infatti la residenza costituirà, per posizione e destinazione di alcuni spazi collettivi, l’elemento di connessione tra la formazione e la ricerca e i punti più significativi della città di Lecco. L’intervento è stato cofinanziato dal MIUR, da UniverLecco, da Regione Lombardia e dallo stesso Politecnico.

“A. LOOS” STUDENT RESIDENCE, LECCOThe work of construction of the residence was completed in February 2015, with an advance of about 30 days than the time provided by contract. The residence was opened March 20, 2015.The intervention consisted in the recovery of the main body of the historical city of the former hospital in Lecco who insists on via Ghislanzoni. Aim of the intervention was to create a campus that, beside the places for teaching and research (New University Centre of Territorial Pole of Lecco), also possessed reception areas.The decision to locate the university residence in the main building of the former Hospital also arises from the desire to create a strong bond between the city and the university, along the lines that led the whole project of the new university. In fact, the residence will be to position and to certain public spaces, the element of connection between educa-tion and research and the most significant points of the city of Lecco.The project was co-financed by the Ministry of Education, from UniverLecco, Lombardy Region and by the Politecnico.





POLO DI MILANO BOVISA - VIA LA MASAEDIFICIO 14A - EDIFICIO LABORATORIOL’edificio è destinato all’installazione di un calorimetro calibrato a due camere finaliz-zato a testare climatizzatori, refrigeratori di liquido, pompe di calore e componenti idronici per dipartimento di energia

L’edificio è stato ultimato a giugno ed è in fase di collaudo.

Presso il Laboratorio del piano terra è stato installato il primo calorimetro ad oggi operativo ed accreditato.

MILANO BOVISA CAMPUS - VIA LA MASABUILDING 14A - LABORATORY BUILDINGThe building will be used to house a calibrated two-room calorimeter for testing air conditioning, liquid coolers, heat pumps and hydronic components for the Energy Department

The building was completed in June and is in testing phase.

At the Laboratory of the ground floor the first calorimeter is installed and it’s operational and accredited.






AREA TECNICO EDILIZIATRIGENERAZIONEL’intervento ha previsto i seguenti macro interventi: una riqualificazione energetica della Centrale Termica principale sita in via Golgi,20 –Mi, l’adeguamento impiantistico delle sottostazioni a servizio di tutti gli edifici dei Campus Leonardo e Bonardi, e l’adeguamento impiantistico con creazione di una rete di teleraf-freddamento a servizio degli edifici del campus Bassini.In particolar modo la radicale trasformazione del sistema di generazione dell’energia termica, frigorifera ed elettrica del Politecnico di Milano si è articolato nel seguente modo:1.sostituzione dei n.3 obsoleti generatori di vapore esistenti con nuovi generatori di calore ad acqua calda dalla potenzialità termica ridotta di 6 MWt cad. ad alto rendimento, abbinati con bruciatori a gas metano del tipo modulante a basse emissioni NOx;2. nuovo impianto di Trigenerazione con installazione di un motore primo ad assetto cogenerativo alimentato da gas metano ed avente la potenzialità di 2 MW elettrici e 1,8 MW termici e di un gruppo refrigerante ad assorbimento con potenzialità 1,2 MW frigoriferi con relativa torre evaporativa di raffreddamento.In particolar modo l’adeguamento della rete di distribuzione dei tre campus del polo universitario (Leonardo, Bassini e Bonardi) ha comportato i seguenti inter-venti:a. Declassamento dell’attuale rete di teleriscaldamento da acqua surriscaldata a 150°C ad acqua calda a 90°C e a portata di fluido variabile a seconda delle richieste energetiche di ciascun edificio, col il conseguente miglioramento dei rendimenti di distribuzione;b. Riqualificazione delle n.20 sottocentrali di scambio termico a servizio di tutti gli edifici dei Campus Leonardo, Bonardi e Bassini con la sostituzione degli obsoleti scambiatori shell and tubes con nuovi scambiatori del tipo a piastre funzionanti ad acqua calda ;c. Soprattutto per il Campus Bassini (edifici 19-20 e 21) la realizzazione la nuova rete di teleriscaldamento è stata fatta anche rendendola rete di teleraffredda-mento per la fornitura di energia termica in inverno ed energia frigorifera , fatta con il sistema di trigenerazione, in estate.L’energia termica prodotta dal cogeneratore sarà utilizzata, nella stagione invernale, in supporto ai tre nuovi generatori di calore , mentre nella stagione estiva,garantirà l’energia termica necessaria per il funzionamento del gruppo frigorifero ad assorbimento per raffrescare gli edifici 19-20 e 21 evitando l’accensionedegli esistenti gruppi frigoriferi con conseguente riduzione dei consumi elettrici. Tutto ciò consentirà di sfruttare al meglio l’energia prodotta dal cogeneratore conconseguente riduzione dei costi per l’approvvigionamento dell’energia termica ed elettrica ed al contempo ottenere un abbattimento della CO2 prodotta e persoddisfare i fabbisogni energetici degli edifici del Politecnico.I lavori sono in fase di collaudo.

TRIGENERATIONThe project has provided the following macros interventions: a main boiler house retrofit via Golgi .20 – Mi, adaptation of plant substation all buildings of the Leonardo Campus and Bonardi, and adjustment systems with district cooling network at the service of campus buildings Bassini.Especially the radical transformation of thermal energy generation system, cooling capacity and power of the Politecnico di Milano was divided as follows:1.replacing of 3 obsolete existing steam generators with new generators heat hot water from thermal power reduced by 6 MWt each. high performance, combined with gas burners methane modulating low NOx emissions;2. new trigeneration plant with installation of a prime mover for cogeneration powered by methane gas and having the potential to 1.8 MW and 2 MW and a 1.2 MW potential absorption refrigeration unit refrigerators with its cooling tower cooling.In particular, the adjustment of the distribution network of the three campuses of the University Centre (Leonardo, Bassini eand Bonardi) resulted in the following actions:a. current Derating of district heating network by superheated water at 150° C for hot water at 90° C and a fluid flow varies depending on the energy requirements of each building, with the consequent improvement of the yields of distribution;b. upgrading of substations 20 of heat exchange in the service of all the buildings of the Campus Leonardo, Bonardi Bassini and with the replacement of obsolete exchanger shell and tubes with new heat exchangers of the plate type running hot water;c. especially for the Bassini Campus (buildings 19-20 and 21) carrying the new district heating network was also made making district cooling network for the supply of heat in winter and cooling energy, made with the tri-generation system, in summer.The heat energy produced by the CHP will be used, in the winter season, in support to the three new heat generators, while in the summer season, will ensure the thermal energy needed for the operation of the absorption chiller to cool buildings 19-20 and 21 prevents the activation of existing chillers, resulting in lower power consumption.This will enable to make the most of the energy produced by the CHP resulting in lower costs for the supply of heat and electricity and at the same time obtain a reduction of the CO2 produced and to meet the energy needs of the buildings of the Polytechnic.Jobs are being tested.

CAMPUS BONARDI, EDIFICIO 11, REALIZZAZIONE CIRCUITI ACQUA REFRIGERATAL’intervento consiste nell’accentramento e ottimizzazione produzione acqua refrigerata a servizio degli Edifici 11 e 12 sedi del Dipartimento di Architettura nel Campus Bonardi con eliminazione di n. 4 vecchi e obsoleti frigoriferi sostituiti con un nuovo gruppo frigorifero del tipo a lievitazione magnetica dalla potenzialità frigorifera di 1.500kwf e realizza-zione dei nuovi circuiti acqua refrigerata di collegamento.


CAMPUS BONARDI, BUILDING 11, CHILLED WATER CIRCUITS REALIZATIONThe intervention consists of centralization and chilled water production optimization in buildings and 11 service 12 seats of the Department of architecture on Campus Bonardi with elimination of no. 4 old and obsolete refrigerators replaced with a new type refrigeration unit to rise from magnetic cooling potential of 1,500 kwf and construction of new chilled water circuits.

POLO DI LECCO, PROGETTAZIONE, REALIZZAZIONE, GESTIONE E CONDIVISIONE DI UN NUOVO IMMOBILE DA DESTINARE A LABORATORI DI RICERCASi è concluso il cantiere per la realizzazione del nuovo edificio ad uso congiunto tra Politecnico e il CNR, con uso prevalente di quest’ultimo. Il nuovo edificio per la ricerca sarà operativo entro la fine dell’inverno, periodo entro il quale si prevede l’ultimazione dell’insediamento degli istituti di ricerca del CNR. Sono nel frattempo in corso i collau-di e le opere di completamento. L’edificio è stato inaugurato il giorno 14 maggio.

LECCO CAMPUS, DESIGN, CONSTRUCTION, MANAGEMENT AND SHARING OF A NEW BUILDING HOUSING RESEARCH LABORATORIES It completed the construction site for the construction of the new building for joint use between Polytechnic and the CNR, with prevalent use of the latter. The new building for research will be operational by the end of winter, a period within which it is expected the completion of the settlement of the research institutes of the CNR. They are meanwhile underway testing and completion works.The building was inaugurated on May, 14th.





SEDE DI MILANO BOVISA, VIA LA MASA, EDIFICIO 26, DIG, REALIZZAZIONE SPAZIO POLIFUNZIONALEIl nuovo spazio polifunzionale nasce dall’esigenza di aumentare e meglio utilizzare i mq oggi disponibili e avere un luogo per:- effettuare catering numerosi anche nei periodi invernali;- organizzare mostre/esposizioni/momenti di incontro/piccole riunioni;- mettere a disposizione della comunità SOM (School of Management) un luogo dove poter riscaldare e consumare i pasti quotidiani.

Il nuovo spazio è ubicato all’interno del cortile nella zona che collega la Sala Consiglio e l’area break ed è costituito da una struttura in acciaio e vetro di 200 mq, aperta sul cortile, riscaldata e condizionata.Lo spazio Polifunzionale è stato inaugurato ufficialmente il 30/10/2015, alla presenza dei due Direttori, in occasione della presentazione del progetto ‘Sustainable SOM’.

(COMMERCIAL ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT): NEW MULTIFUNCTIONAL AREAThe new multi-purpose space stems from the increase and better use sqm available today and have a place to- Make a number of catering even in winter;- Organize exhibitions / shows / moments of meeting / small meetings;- Make available to the community SOM (School of Management) a place to warm up and daily lunches.

The new space is located in the courtyard area that connects the Hall Council and the break area and consists of a steel frame and glass of 200 square meters, open cour-tyard, heated and conditioned.Multipurpose space was officially opened on 10.30.2015, in the presence of the two Directors, at the presentation of the project ‘Sustainable SOM’.




PIANO RISTRUTTURAZIONE E RAFFRESCAMENTO AULE CAMPUS LEONARDO - EDIFICIO 3Nell’ambito del piano di riqualificazione delle aule del campus Leonardo, nel 2015 sono stati riqualificati altri spazi c/o edificio 3 siti al piano primo, che si sono liberati a seguito del trasferimento del DASTU, per creare n°2 aule didattiche e n°1 aula corsi.L’intervento ha previsto la ristrutturazione completa degli spazi secondo il nuovo lay-out funzionale, e ha comportato il miglioramento dell’involucro, la realizzazione di tutta la nuova impiantistica e il rifacimento delle finiture, dell’arredo e dei tendaggi.

I lavori si sono conclusi e le nuove Aule didattiche sono entrate regolarmente in funzio-ne a partire dal giorno 20/10/2015.

LEONARDO CAMPUS CLASSROOM RESTORATION AND CONDITIONING PLAN - BUILDING 3As part of the redevelopment of the classrooms on campus Leonardo, in 2015 were retrained other spaces c/o building 3 sites on the first floor, which are released fol-lowing the transfer of DASTU, to create No. 2 rooms for didactics and No. 1 room for courses.The project involved the complete renovation of the space according to the new fun-ctional layout, and has resulted in the improvement of the housing, the construction of all new plant and the rebuilding of the finishes, furnishings and upholstery.

The work was completed and new Classrooms entered regularly into operation from the date 10.20.2015.





CAMPUS LEONARDO EDIFICIO 7 RIQUALIFICAZIONE LABORATORI PIANO -1L’intervento di cui all’oggetto riguarda la riqualificazione degli spazi seminterrato dell’edificio 7 precisamente di 3 laboratori per applicazioni LASER ed un laboratorio didattico.Si sono resi necessari sia interventi civili che impiantistici meccanici ed elettrici atti a rendere gli spazi adeguati all’uso di applicazioni LASER.

Gli spazi sono stati consegnati al Dipartimenti di Fisica che li sta utilizzando già dal mese di marzo 2015.

LEONARDO CAMPUS BUILDING 7 REDEVELOPMENT -1 PLAN WORKSHOPSThe operation referred to above concerns the redevelopment of spaces basement of building 7 precisely 3 laboratories for laser applications and an educational work-shop. It has become necessary interventions both civilian and plant mechanical and electrical acts to make the spaces suitable for use in LASER applications.

The spaces have been delivered to departments of physics that they are using since March 2015.





L’intervento nasce dalle condizioni fatiscenti in cui versava l’Edificio 4, i cui locali non venivano ristrutturati ormai da parecchi decenni. Parte dell’edificio, inoltre, era occupato dal Dipartimento di Energia,trasferito presso un nuovo edificio della sede di Bovisa. Il trasferimento di cui sopra ha consentito la razionalizzazione e rifunzionalizzazione degli spazi che saranno occupati interamente dal DICA. L’intervento consente la messa a norma degli spazi che verranno ristrutturati e la realizzazione di tutti i nuovi impianti a servizio.Gli obiettivi principali dell’intervento sono:- il restauro e il recupero formale e architettonico dell’edificio;- la ridistribuzione funzionale degli spazi adeguandoli alle mutate esigenze del Dipartimento;- la messa a norma dell’edificio dal punto di vista strutturale, con riferimento all’antisismica;- la messa a norma dell’edificio dal punto di vista della prevenzione incendi;- il miglioramento del “comfort” ambientale sia durante il periodo estivo che durante il periodo invernale e delle condizioni igienico sanitarie mediante la realizzazione di impianti di raffrescamento e di condizionamento dell’aria;- il contenimento dei consumi energetici;- il miglioramento del “comfort” acustico;- il miglioramento del “comfort” luminoso;- il miglioramento della accessibilità degli spazi e l’adeguamento alle normative vigenti in materia;- il miglioramento della sicurezza degli spazi dal punto di vista antinfortunistico;- il restauro e rinnovo delle finiture.

L’intervento è il primo lotto della ristrutturazione che riguarda l’intero edificio. Il primo lotto riguarda per la maggior parte dell’estensione dello stesso, gli spazi precedentemente occupati dal Dipartimento di Energia e spazialmente le porzioni est e nord dell’edificio.

CITTÀ STUDI CAMPUS, PIAZZA LEONARDO DA VINCI 32 - RENOVATION, REPAIRS, FUNCTIONAL RESTORATION AND UPDATING TO STANDARDS OF BUILDING 4 ON THE D.I.I.A.R. CAMPUS – LOT 1The works are the result of the dilapidated condition of Building 4, the rooms of which had not been renovated for several decades. Part of the building had, in fact, been occupied by the Energy Department, which has since moved to a new facility at the Bovisa campus. This move has allowed the spaces in the building to be rationalised and functionally restructured for occupation entirely by DICA. The works consist of updating the interior spaces to current standards through restoration work and the installation of new service plant.The primary objectives of the project are:- formal and architectural restoration and repair of the building;- functional redistribution of the interior spaces to meet the changing needs of the Department;- compliance with current standards from a structural point of view, with particular reference to seismic activity;- compliance with current standards from a fire-prevention point of view;- improvements to living comfort, both during the summer and winter periods, and to the sanitary/hygiene facilities through the installation of air conditioning and cooling plants;- reduce energy consumption;- improve acoustic comfort;- improve lighting comfort;- improve accessibility to the interior spaces and update to current standards governing access;- improve the health and safety aspects of interior spaces;- restoration and repair of finishes.

The works constitute the first phase in the restoration of the entire building. This first phase involves most of the building, i.e. the spaces previously occupied by the Energy Department and the eastern and northern parts.

CAMPUS BONARDI, EDIFICIO 11, RIPRISTINO BALLATOI E SCALE ESTERNE

L’intervento è volto a ripristinare le condizioni di funzionalità tecnica ed architettoni-ca dei passaggi pedonali, attualmente sottoposti a degrado causato principalmente dall’esposizione agli agenti atmosferici. Il degrado riscontrato, oltre a risultare dannoso per il decoro e la conservazione degli elementi architettonici, comporta un rischio di distacco di intonaci e materiali cementizi con conseguente pericolo per cose e persone che dovessero transitare al di sotto dei passaggi in oggetto. L’intervento, esteso a tutti gli elementi cementizi che costituiscono i camminamenti, ha la scopo di riportare gli elementi interessati ad adeguati livelli di conservazione e decoro.

Il 4/10/2015 è stata terminata la prima fase dei lavori (lato via Ampère).

L’11/12/2015 sono stati terminati i lavori della Fase 2.

BONARDI CAMPUS, BUILDING 11,GALLERIES AND STAIRS RESTORATION

The project is aimed at restoring the conditions of technical and architectural features of the walkways, currently undergoing degradation caused mainly by exposure to the elements.The degradation observed, in addition to being harmful to the dignity and the preservation of the architectural elements, carries a risk of detachment of plaster and cement materials and endangering persons and things that might pass below the passages in question.The intervention, extended to all the elements which constitute the cement walkways, has the aim of bringing the elements concerned to adequate levels of preservation and decoration.

On 04.10.2015 was finished the first phase of the work (Ampere St. side).

On 12.11.2015 was finished the work of phase 2.

RESIDENZA UNIVERSITARIA “CASA DELLO STUDENTE”MILANOLa «Casa dello Studente» è stata sottoposta negli ultimi anni ad interventi di ristrutturazione delle facciate interne, adeguamento normativo degli impianti, di recupero degli spazi interni ed alla riqualificazione delle nuove cucine capaci di accogliere contemporaneamente circa il 50% dell’u-tenza complessiva.Il 4 settembre 2015, con 15 giorni di anticipo rispetto le scadenze contrattuali previste, sono termi-nati i lavori e gli allestimenti dell’intervento di ampliamento, costituito da una sopraelevazione di tre piani del corpo di fabbrica interno al cortile. L’intervento ha consentito un incremento di 40 posti letto, più servizi comuni, portando l’offerta residenziale dell’immobile agli attuali 333 posti complessiviNei primi due nuovi piani sono presenti dieci minialloggi di tipologia “duplex” che saranno destinati prioritariamente a visiting professors, dottorandi e, più in generale a utenti impegnati in medio-lun-ghe permanenze. Ciascuna unità è composta da una zona giorno, con spazio cottura/pranzo soggiorno/TV e studio oltre ad una zona notte posta al livello superiore con una camera a due posti letto ed il bagno.Al terzo piano sono state realizzate altre dieci camere doppie complete di spazio studio e bagno privato.Ogni piano della residenza è inoltre provvisto di un ampio spazio comune attrezzato a sala studio e giochi.L’intervento di ampliamento è stato cofinanziato dal MIUR e dallo stesso Politecnico.Per la conclusione dell’intervento restano da realizzare una serie di interventi di adeguamento nor-mativo dell’edificio preesistente per i quali è in corso la verifica del progetto esecutivo presentato dall’Appaltatore. Le attività previste sono in parte finanziate dal Miur ed in parte rientrano tra le ope-re finanziate con l’elenco annuale del lavori 2016 e prenderanno avvio a seguito dell’ottenimento dei titoli autorizzativi. La capillarità degli interventi e l’attività residenziale in corso permetteranno l’esecuzione dei lavori principalmente nel corso della chiusura estiva della Residenza del mese di agosto pertanto si prevede di concludere l’intervento entro settembre 2017.

“CASA DELLO STUDENTE” STUDENT RESIDENCE, MILANThe “Casa dello studente” has been subjected in recent years to restructuring of the internal walls, regulatory compliance of the systems, recovery of the interior spaces and the redevelopment of the new kitchens able to simultaneously accommodate about 50% of all users.September 4, 2015, 15 days in advance of the contractual deadlines laid down, work was com-pleted and composition of the intervention of expansion, consisting of a three-story elevation of the building inside the yard.The intervention led to an increase of 40 beds, most common services, bringing the offer residential property to the current 333 seats inIn the first two new plans are ten mini apartments of ‘duplex’ type, which will be allocated in priority to visiting professors, graduate students, and more generally to users engaged in medium-long stay. Each unit consists of a living area, with a cooking space/ dining room / television and studio as well as a sleeping area is the top level with a twin beds and a bathroom.On the third floor we were made ten more rooms complete with studio space and private bathroom.Each floor of the residence is also equipped with a large common area equipped with study room and games.The intervention of expansion was funded by Ministry of Education and the Politecnico.For the conclusion of the intervention remain to carry out a series of measures to adapt the regulatory existing building for which is ongoing verification of the final design submitted by the Contractor. The planned activities are partly financed by the Ministry of education and partly within the works finan-ced by the annual list of 2016 and will start work after obtaining authorisation titles. The capillarity of interventions and residential activity in progress will allow the execution of works mainly during the summer residence of August so it is envisaged to conclude the operation by September 2017.





SEDE MILANO CITTÀ STUDI E BOVISA, SICUREZZA, ADEGUAMENTO NORMATIVO SCALEIl lavoro prevede la realizzazione di n°5 nuove scale esterne di sicurezza per la messa a norma ai fini antincendio VVF, degli Edifici 3 Campus Leonardo e Edificio 24 Campus Golgi Clericetti.

In particolare presso l’Edificio 3 sono in corso di realizzazione n°3 nuovi corpi scala all’interno del cortile che serviranno il piano primo ed un n°1 corpo scala nell’area esterna che servirà i piani delle aule poste nel lato est dell’edificio. Presso l’Edificio 24 verrà realizzato un unico corpo scala esterno.

Il progetto è stato approvato dai VVF e dalla Soprintendenza (solo Edificio 3) ed è in fase di esecuzione. L’intervento ha subito una variante per problemi derivanti da infiltrazioni delle acque meteoriche provenienti dai terreni del cortile con dilavamento su tutta l’altezza della parete interna posta al piano seminterrato. Si sta procedendo così alla realizzazione di una intercapedine areata.

I lavori sono stati avviati nel mese di aprile 2015.

La fine lavori è prevista per il mese di gennaio 2016.

MILANO CITTÀ STUDI AND BOVISA CAMPUSES, SAFETY, UPDATING OF STAIRWAYS TO CURRENT STANDARDSThe work involves the construction of No. 5 new outside security stairs for retrofitting for fire VVF, in the Building 3 Campus Leonardo and Building 24 Campus Golgi Clericetti.

Particularly in Building 3 are under construction no. 3 new staircases inside the courtyard that will serve the first floor and a No. 1 in the external staircase that will serve the plans of the classrooms placed on the east side of the building.In Building 24 will be built a unique external staircase.

The project was approved by the Fire Brigade and the Superintendence (Building 3 only) and at runtime. The intervention has undergone a variant for problems arising from infiltrations of rainwater from the land of the courtyard with run-off on all the height of the inner wall placed in the basement. It is proceeding well to the creation of an interspace areata.

The works were started in the month of April 2015.

The completion of work is planned for the month of January 2016.

NEWTON” STUDENT RESIDENCE, MILANThe project consists in building renovation and plant interior spaces aimed at upgrading and functional of the existing building, as well as removing architectural barriers, in ac-cordance with the original architectural and morphological characteristics and existing volumes.It’s also provided the architectural upgrading and plant / energy of the building and the outdoor areas pertaining green spaces and parking service to the residence.They are ongoing construction activities of partitions and internal structures.

The residence will be active from September 2016.

The project was co-financed by the Ministry of Education and the Politecnico.




RESIDENZA UNIVERSITARIA “V. PARETO” - MILANOIl progetto consiste nella demolizione dell’edificio scolastico esistente dismesso e nella nuova costruzione di un edificio articolato in due corpi di fabbrica: il prisma lineare e la torre sono destinati agli alloggi e interconnessi al piano terra da un corpo basso contenente i servizi comuni (culturali, didattici e ricreativi).Le aree esterne saranno principalmente destinate a giardini pubblici aperti al quartie-re, in modo da garantire la massima fruibilità degli spazi comuni e la permeabilità tra il nuovo intervento e il tessuto urbano circostante. Si sono svolte due Conferenze di servizi ai fini del rilascio del permesso di costruire.

La seconda fase dei lavori di demolizione e scavo sarà a breve avviata, mentre la realizzazione dei lavori di costruzione prenderà avvio a valle dell’autorizzazione da parte del MIUR ad eseguire le varianti apportate al progetto originariamente approva-to da parte dello stesso Ministero e resesi necessarie a fronte delle richieste avanzate dal Comune di Milano.L’attivazione della residenza è prevista per l’anno accademico 2017-2018.L’intervento è stato cofinanziato dal MIUR, da Regione Lombardia e dallo stesso Po-litecnico.

PARETO” STUDENT RESIDENCE, MILAN The project involves the demolition of an old school which is no longer in use and construction of a new building in two blocks, a linear prism and a tower, containing apartments and linked at the ground floor by a lower block containing common areas (cultural, educational and recreational facilities).The outdoor areas will primarily become public gardens open to local residents to ensure maximum access to common areas and permeability between the new building and the neighborhood.

There were two Conferences of services for the purpose of issuing the Building permit.

The second phase of demolition and excavation will soon be launched, while the realization of the construction work will start downstream of the authorization by the Ministry of Education to perform the variations made to the project originally approved by the Ministry and made necessary the requests made by the City of Milan.

The activation of the residence is planned for the academic year 2017-2018.The project was co-financed by the Ministry of Education and the Politecnico.

RESIDENZA UNIVERSITARIA “A. EINSTEIN” - MILANOIl progetto consiste nella demolizione dell’edificio scolastico esistente dismesso e nella nuova costruzione di un edificio articolato in tre torri destinate agli alloggi e interconnesse al piano terra da un corpo basso contenente i servizi comuni (culturali, didattici e ricreativi).Le aree esterne saranno principalmente destinate a giardini pubblici aperti al quartiere, in modo da garantire la massima fruibilità degli spazi comuni e la permeabilità tra il nuovo intervento e il tessuto urbano circostante.

Nel mese di maggio 2015 è stato rilasciato il Permesso di costruire e si prevede di ultimare a breve i lavori di demoli-zione e scavo (successivi alla bonifica ambientale dei terreni già eseguita).

La realizzazione dei lavori di costruzione prenderà avvio a valle dell’autorizzazione da parte del MIUR ad eseguire le varianti apportate al progetto originariamente approvato da parte dello stesso Ministero e resesi necessarie a fronte delle richieste avanzate dal Comune di Milano.L’attivazione della residenza è prevista per l’anno accademico 2017-2018.L’intervento è stato cofinanziato dal MIUR e dallo stesso Politecnico.

RESIDENZA UNIVERSITARIA “LA PRESENTAZIONE” - COMOL’intervento consiste nel recupero e restauro scientifico dell’immobile “La Presentazione”, finalizzato alla realizzazione di una residenza studenti a servizio del polo regionale di Como e della città. Il progetto comprende anche la sistemazione delle aree esterne con recupero di una zona a verde attrezzato, fruibile dagli ospiti della residenza e dalla città , nonché della cappella interna al compendio immobiliare, quest’ultima da poco ridotta a rito pagano.

Sono in corso le opere interne, mentre sono sostanzialmente ultimate le opere strutturali e sulle facciate: i lavori sono in anticipo rispetto il programma e si prevede termineranno entro l’inverno. La residenza sarà attiva da settembre 2016. L’intervento è stato cofinanziato dal MIUR, da Fondazione Politecnico, da Regione Lom-bardia e dallo stesso Politecnico.

The project involves scientific reclamation and restoration of the “La Presentazione” buil-ding to create a student residence serving the Como campus and the city.The project also includes the external areas with recovery of a green area equipped, accessible from the guests of the residence and the city, as well as the chapel inside the building complex, the latter recently reduced to pagan ritual.They are ongoing internal works, while they are substantially completed the structural works and works on the facades are in advance of the program and are expected to be completed by winter. The residence will be active from September 2016.The project was co-financed by the Ministry of Education, by Fondazione Poitecnico, by the Lombardy Region and by the Politecnico.

RIQUALIFICAZIONE PIAZZA LEONARDO DA VINCILa trasformazione di Piazza Leonardo da Vinci ha come obiettivo la creazione di uno spazio accogliente e dinamico per la città e per tutti gli utenti del Politecnico, che ospiti e faciliti la realizzazione di attività qualitativamente significative.

Gli interventi in capo al Politecnico consistono nella realizzazione di nuova pavi-mentazione architettonica a disegno, in cemento lavato con ghiaia a vista ed inserti in pietra, mantenendo la geometria storica delle superfici con la conservazione dei cordoli esistenti, nell’ampliamento delle aree a verde mediante eliminazione dei marciapiedi esistenti, e nella realizzazione di zone attrezzate escluse opere a verde. E’ stata firmata la convenzione tra Politecnico e Comune di Milano in data 16/10/2015.

I lavori sono stati consegnati il 24/10/2015.

Il laboratorio CREA (Compressible-fluid dynamics for Renewable Energy Applications) ospiterà le attività sperimentali del progetto ERC Consolidator 2013 NSHOCK, PI Prof. Alberto Guardone (2014-2019). Al laboratorio partecipa personale del Diparti-mento di Scienze e Tecnologie Aerospaziali e del Dipartimento di Energia.Nell’ambito del progetto, è prevista la realizzazione di una galleria del vento per fluidi organici (modifica dell’attuale TROVA, Test-Rig for Organic VApour, attualmente operante presso il laboratorio LFM del Dipartimento di Energia), di un impianto di distillazione dei fluidi silossani e di un apparato per la misura della velocità del suono di molecole complesse in condizioni prossime alla saturazione liquido-vapore.

I volumi e i servizi necessari al laboratorio sono identificati nel Grant Agreement stipulato dall’Ateneo con l’European Research Council nel Febbraio del 2014. I lavori previsti nel capitolato in discussione si rendono necessari per adeguare e ampliare le volumetrie dell’edificio B16A per raggiungere quelle indicate nel Grant Agreement. Nel Grant Agreement è indicata come data di fine lavori il aprile 2016, da cui il carattere di urgenza della richiesta in discussione.

SEDE DI MILANO BOVISA, VIA LA MASA, CREATION OF A NEW LABORATORY ERC CREA FOR THE THE AEROSPACE/ENERGY DEPARTMENT, AND SPLAB EXTENSION

The CREA lab (Compressible-fluid dynamics for Renewable Energy Applications) will host the sperimental activities of ERC Consolidator 2013 NSHOCK project, Pl Prof. Alberto Guardone (2014-2019). The personnel of the Department of Aerospace Science and Technology and of the Department of Energy will partecipate to the lab. Under the project, the construction of a wind tunnel for organic fluids (change of current TROVA, Test-Rig for Organic VApour, currently working at the LFM laboratory of the Department of Energy), a distillation of siloxane fluids and an apparatus for the measurement of sound speed of complex molecules under conditions close to the liquid-vapor saturation.

Volumes and necessary facilities for the lab are identified in the Grant Agreement signed by the University with the European Research Council in February 2014. The works provided for in this contract are necessary in order to adapt and expand the volumes of the building B16A to reach those indicated in the Grant Agreement. In the Grant Agreement the work end date is indicated in april 2016, hence the urgency of the request’s character.



RISTRUTTURAZIONE DEI LOCALI AL PIANO PRIMO DELL’EDIFICIO 11 DEL CAMPUS BONARDI E RIORGANIZZAZIONE DEI RESTANTI SPAZI DELL’ATTUALE BCALa prima fase dell’intervento in oggetto, che a seguito delle mutate esigenze derivanti dalla riorganizzazione interna della Biblioteca Centrale di Architettura (B.C.A.) ha analizzato e rivisto la ridistribuzione interna degli spazi posti al piano terra dell’Edificio 11 per ampliare gli uffici Amministrativi della stessa, si è conclusa positivamente ed il persona-le T.A. ha preso posesso dei nuovi spazi.

La seconda fase del progetto di riorganizzazione prevedeva, oltre a quanto già realizzato, anche la riqualificazione funzionale della attuale “Sala Guernica” con la formazione di appositi spazi di accoglienza e consultazione destinati agli studenti per poter ospitare le novità in arrivo messe a disposizione del pubblico al fine di una rapida e agevole consultazione.

Il progetto esecutivo è concluso e sono in via di definizione gli affidamenti per i lavori propedeutici all’installazione dei nuovi arredi. Nella prossima seduta del C.d.A. del mese di dicembre 2015 sarà portata in approvazione della pro-posta di acquisto degli elementi e dei vari complementi di arredo previsti dal progetto attraverso il ricorso al M.E.P.A.

Si prevede che, una volta approvata tale proposta, le operazioni di smantellamento dell’esistente, trasferimento dei volumi ed installazione dei nuovi arredi secondo il progetto sviluppato, possa avvenire entro la prima metà del 2016.

RESTORATION OF ROOMS ON THE FIRST FLOOR OF BUILDING 11 OF THE BONARDI CAMPUS AND REORGANISATION OF THE REMAINING SPACES OF THE CURRENT BCAThe first phase of the intervention, which as a result of the changed requirements deriving from the internal reorganization of the Central Library of architecture (B.C.A.) analyzed and reviewed the internal redistribution of spaces on the ground floor of the building 11 to extend the administrative offices, ended positively and T.A. took possession of new spaces.

The second phase of the reorganization included, in addition to what has been achieved, even the redevelopment of the current ‘Hall Guernica’ with the formation of the spaces of reception and consultation for students to welcome new releases made available to the public for the purpose of a smooth and rapid consultation.

The final design is completed and are being finalized the credit for the work preparatory to the installation of new furni-ture. In the next session of C.d.A. of December 2015 it will be brought to the approval of the proposed acquisition of the various elements and furnishings provided by the project through the use of the MEPA

It is expected that, once approved this proposal, the dismantling operations of the existing volume transfer and installation of new furniture according to the plan developed, to take place by the middle of 2016.

MILANO CITTÀ STUDI AND BONARDI CAMPUSES, UPDATING OF STAIRWAYS IN BUILDING 14, THE NAVE, CLASSROOM SIDE ON VIA PONZIO

The project identifies the realization of works of regulatory compliance for fire firemen, put into the program by the Board of Directors to increase the safety of buildings. It involves the construction of a new fire escapes at the service of the body side of classrooms via Ponzio. The project will be carried out after total demolition of the existing stairwell and through the creation of a new scale reinforced concrete type of ‘evidence of smoking inside’ with compartment compartmentalized.




SEDE MILANO CITTÀ STUDI - RIASSETTO COMPLESSIVO DIPARTIMENTO DI CHIMICA, MATERIALI E INGEGNERIA CHIMICAL’intervento finanziato con fondi di bilancio (elenco annuale) 2011 per 9.500.000,00 €, titolato “Sede Milano Città Studi, Piazza Leonardo da Vinci 32, Edificio 6 - Ristruttu-razione e messa a norma Torre laboratorio Chimica”, viene inserito nel contesto di com-plessivo riassetto e riorganizzazione del Dipartimento di afferenza, previsto in diverse annualità, per un costo totale previsto inizialmente pari a circa 47.000.000,00 di cui 28.000.000,00 € già inseriti nel “Piano triennale 2014-2016” (CdA 29.10.13 n. 379), rivisto nell’anno 2014 con diverse soluzioni progettuali (per le mutate strategie di riorganizzazione dei dipartimenti ed esigenze del Dip. stesso) per arrivare ad un importo di quadro economico totale di circa 48.500.000,00 di cui 24.000.000,00 € com-plessivi per la realizzazione, ritenuta prioritaria, di un nuovo edificio destinato prevalen-temente a laboratori chimici presso il campus Bassini. Dei € 14.900.000,00 stanziati nel 2015, € 14.500.000,00 vanno a coprire la differenza tra quanto già finanziato 9.500.000,00 e quanto necessario per coprire l’importo del quadro economico del nuovo edificio di Bassini. La restante parte, € 400.000,00 era anticipata per proce-dere con un intervento di riqualificazione di due piani della torre laboratori dell’Edificio 6 (rimasti liberi dopo trasferimento docenti ad Energia). La riqualificazione prevede l’esecuzione delle compartimentazioni ed il rifacimento di tutti gli impianti elettrici e delle finiture. La parte rimanente (finestre, impianti meccanici, tecnici e impianti elevatori) verrà realizzata con la ristrutturazione integrale della torre. Verrà inoltre effettuato l’acquisto di attrezzature tecniche necessarie ad allestire i laboratori dei due piani. Il quadro econo-mico aggiornato a seguito di redazione di Studio di fattibilità dell’intervento presso la Torre ammonta a € 950.000,00. Nel 2016 è stanziata la somma, per differenza sull’importo già finanziato, a copertura del Q.E. del nuovo edificio (esclusi modifiche per richieste dipartimento e/o commissio-ne energia da valutare eventualmente con aggiornamenti di bilancio), del Q.E. dei due piani della torre ed. 6 (senza infissi e canali), della realizzazine degli infissi e canali (stima), e della rimozione della scala tubolare nel retro dell’edificio 6.

MILANO CITTÀ STUDI CAMPUS - TOTAL REORGANISATION OF THE DEPARTMENT OF CHEMISTRY, MATERIALS AND CHEMICAL ENGINEERINGThe intervention funded through budget (annual list) 2011 to £ 9,500,000.00, titled “Milano Città Studi, Piazza Leonardo da Vinci 32, Building 6-restructuring and put under chemical laboratory Tower”, is placed in the overall context of rearrangement and reor-ganization of the Department of institutions, expected in several annuity, for an expected total cost approximately € 28,000,000.00 47,000,000.00 of which initially already included in “three-year plan for 2014-2016” (CdA 29.10.13 # 379), revised in the year 2014 with different design solutions (for the changing strategies of reorganization of departments and demands of employees itself) in order to arrive at an amount of ap-proximately 48,500,000.00 economic framework whose overall implementation, priori-ty retention 24,000,000.00 €, a new building intended mainly to chemical laboratories at the campus Bassini. Of € 14,900,000.00 allocated in 2015, € 14,500,000.00 go to cover the difference between what has already been funded 9,500,000.00 and what is necessary to cover the amount of the economic framework of the new building of Babu. The remainder, € 400,000.00 was anticipated to proceed with a redevelopment of two floors of the tower building 6 Labs (remained free after transferring teachers to energy). The redevelopment will include the compartments and the makeover of all electrical and finishes. The remainder (Windows, mechanical systems, technicians and elevators) will be carried out with the complete renovation of the tower. Necessary technical equipment will also be purchased to equip the laboratories of two floors. The economic picture updated following editorial board of feasibility study of the intervention at the Tower amounts to € 950,000.00.In 2016 is allocated the sum, difference of amount already funded, to cover the electric Board of the new building (except changes to energy Department and/or Commission requests to evaluate budget updates if necessary) of the electric Board of the two floors of the tower and. 6 (without fixtures and channels), framing the painting to exhibit and channels (estimate), and the removal of 6 tubular ladder at the rear of the building.

Il Consiglio di Amministrazione del dicembre del 2014 ha approvato il progetto preliminare ed il lavoro è inserito nell’elenco anuale 2015.Il lavoro prevede l’adeguamento funzionale degli spazi del piano terra alle mutate esigenze di ricerca e di didattica del Dipartimento E.I.B.. Verrà realizzato un amplia-mento mediante un piano ammezzato parziale del corpo nord denominato “ex Sala Alte Tensioni”. Gli spazi e gli impianti saranno messi a norma. Saranno rinnovate tutte le finiture. L’intervento, per questioni logistiche è stato abbinato con la messa a norma del corpo sud destinato ad aule mediante la realizzazione di nuovi collegamenti verticali esterni (scala ed ascensore).Il progetto è stato approvato dalla Soprintendenza e presentato ai Vigili del Fuoco.

E’ in fase di stesura il progetto esecutivo.

MILANO CITTÀ STUDI CAMPUS, PIAZZA LEONARDO DA VINCI, BUILDING 7 EX ELECTROTECHNICS, RESTORATION AND FUNCTIONAL RESTRUCTURING OF THE MEZZANINE FLOOR OF THE BUILDING

In December 2014, the Board of Governors approved the preliminary project which was added to the annual list for 2015.The works consist of the functional updating of the rooms on the ground floor to meet the teaching and research requirements of the E.I.B. Department . A partial mezzanine floor will form an addition to the northern part known as the “ex Sala Alte Tensioni” (ex High Voltage Room). The rooms and equipment will be upgraded to comply with current standards. All the finishes will be renewed. For logistic reasons, the works have been combined with the upgrading of the south part of the building to comply with current standards through the addition of a new external stairway and lifts.The project has been approved by the “Soprintendenza” authorities and submitted to the Fire Service.

The executive project is currently being prepared.

RESIDENZA UNIVERSITARIA “CASA DELLO STUDENTE”: NUOVA COSTRUZIONE IMPIANTI SPORTIVI E DI SERVIZIO PRESSO L’AREA DEL CS GIURIATIIl progetto prevede la realizzazione di una nuova palazzina servizi / student hub, a supporto delle attività del centro sportivo Giuriati, e un campo polivalente coperto, oltre alla sistemazione degli spazi aperti adiacenti a verde e parcheggio.

A seguito dei confronti con l’Amministrazione e la Zona 3 del Comune di Milano, l’Area Tecnico Edilizia ha avviato un confronto tecnico con il potenziale futuro appalta-tore e con il MIUR per verificare la possibilità di realizzare un una variante al progetto in precedenza approvato dal MIUR e che meglio risponde alle esigenze dell’Ateneo e della collettività.

Nel frattempo sono state eseguite le demolizioni e le bonifiche ambientali / belliche, e i lavori di scavo delle fondazioni del nuovo edificio. L’avvio dei lavori è previsto per l’anno 2016.

“CASA DELLO STUDENTE” STUDENT RESIDENCE: BUILDING OF A NEW SPORT AND SERVICE SITE IN THE GIURIATI SPORT CENTER AREAThe project involves the construction of a new service building / student hub, to support the activities of the sports center Giuriati, and a multipurpose covered playing field, in addition to the arrangement of adjacent open spaces to green and parking.

Following comparisons with the Administration and Zone 3 of the City of Milan, the Area Technician Construction has started a technical comparison with the potential future contractor and the Ministry of Education to verify the feasibility of a variant on the project previously approved the Ministry of Education and that better meets the needs of the University and the community.

Meanwhile they performed the demolition and environmental remediation / war, and the excavation of the foundations of the new building.The start of work is planned for the year 2016.





COSTRUZIONE, RISTRUTTURAZIONE E RECUPERO DI UNA RESIDENZA UNIVERSITARIA, PISCINA COPERTA E SCOPERTA E SERVIZI ANNESSI PRESSO L’AREA DELLA PISCINA COMUNALE “GUIDO ROMANO” VIA G. PONZIO - MILANO

Il complesso immobiliare oggetto d’intervento, interamente di proprietà del Comune, è costituito dal centro balneare “Guido Romano”, da una zona a verde pubblico attrezzato e da un complesso edificato ad un piano, prospettante su via Ampère, destinato in parte a spogliatoi e locali magazzino asserviti al centro balneare, e in parte a libreria.L’area nel suo complesso è stata urbanizzata e insediata nei primi decenni del secolo scorso, ed è stata successivamente, ed a più riprese, oggetto di interventi di adeguamento e potenziamento delle attrezzature e servizi esistenti.Cogliendo l’opportunità fornita dal c.d. “terzo bando” della Legge 338/2000, nel 2011 il Politecnico ha proposto al Comune la realizzazione di una residenza universitaria all’interno del complesso del centro balneare Romano. Il progetto iniziale, che prevedeva la demolizione integrale e ricostruzione degli attuali immobili prospicienti via Ampère, fu dichiarato meritevole di cofinanziamento da parte del MIUR. Successivamente alla presentazione del progetto e della relativa doman-da di cofinanziamento, e a fronte del vincolo di tutela apposto sull’area da parte della Direzione Regionale per i Beni Culturali e Paesaggistici della Lombardia, il Politecnico, in accordo con il Comune, ha provveduto a rivedere il progetto, individuando diverse soluzioni alternative atte a coniugare lo stesso rispetto le esigenze di tutela architettonica e del paesaggio, alle esigenze delle rappresentanze della zona 3 e del Comune.Attraverso la realizzazione dell’intervento cofinanziato dal MIUR sarà possibile realizzare una residenza universitaria di 84 posti alloggio, prevalentemente da destinare a studenti capaci, meritevoli e privi di mezzi, visiting professor e dottorandi. L’intervento consente anche di cofinanziare parte degli interventi relativi alle funzioni di supporto alla residenza, tra cui la mensa e l’impianto natatorio, quest’ultimo annoverato tra gli “spazi fitness” previsti dai decreti attuativi della L. 338/2000. La realizzazione dell’intervento consentirebbe inoltre di realizzare una “cerniera” tra il centro balenare e i restanti servizi, condivisibili con la città, presenti all’interno del limitrofo campus universitario, quali ad esempio le biblioteche, gli spazi di studio e lettura collettivi, l’accesso alle reti wi-fi dell’università.L’accordo sottoscritto tra il Comune di Milano e il Politecnico ha dato vita ad un partenariato pubblico-pubblico prodromico alla realizzazione dell’iniziativa. Attualmente sono in corso le attività di progettazione e predisposizione degli studi e dei documenti per bandire la procedura per l’affidamento del contratto per la realizzazione degli interventi. Quest’ultimo sarà riconducibile al partenariato pubblico-privato e prevederà, tra l’altro, l’apporto di capitali privati.

L’operazione ha subito un rallentamento a causa dei ricorsi formulati da alcuni comitati di cittadini contro la decisione del Comune di Milano di dare seguito all’intervento.L’operazione dovrebbe comunque riprendere con l’inizio dell’anno 2016.

CONSTRUCTION, RESTORATION AND RENOVATION OF A UNIVERSITY RESIDENCE, INDOOR AND OUTDOOR SWIMMING POOL AND ASSOCIATED SERVICES AT THE “GUIDO ROMANO” PUBLIC SWIMMING POOL IN VIA G. PONZIO - MILANOThe building complex involved in the works is fully owned by the City of Milan and consists of the “Guido Romano” swimming pool, an equipped public garden area and a single storey building complex overlooking via Ampère. The building complex will include changing rooms and storage areas serving the pool and, in part, a library.The area as a whole was urbanised and established during the first decades of last century and since then has, on several occasions, been updated and improved as regards equipment and services.In 2011, taking advantage of the opportunities provided by the so-called “terzo bando” (third procedure) of Law 338/2000, the Polytechnic made a proposal to the City for the realisation of a university residence within the Romano swimming pool complex. The first project, which included the total demolition and reconstruction of the current buildings overlooking via Ampère, was declared worthy of co-financing by MIUR. Following the presentation of the project and the relative application for co-financing, and in view of the protected area status declared by the Regional Offices for Cultural Heritage and Landscapes of Lombardy, the Polytechnic, in agreement with the City of Milan, reviewed the project and identified a number of alternative solutions able to respect the architectural and landscape heritage and well as the needs of the representatives of zone 3 and the City.Through co-financing the project with MIUR, the polytechnic will be able to build a university residence to house 84 people, mainly talented worthy students without transport, visiting professors and PhD students. The project also allows co-financing of works designed to provide support functions for the residence, such as a canteen and swimming pool; this latter being part of the “fitness spaces” provided for by the Law 338/2000 implementation decrees. The realisation of the project will also provide a “link” between the swimming pool and the other services within the university campus that can be shared with the city, for example the libraries, study workspaces and collective reading rooms, access to the university’s wi-fi networks.The agreement between the City of Milan and the Polytechnic has given life to a symptomatic public-public partnership in the realisation of the initiative. The design activities are currently being carried out and the relevant studies and documents for the tender procedure required prior to awarding the contract are being prepared. The contract will be in the form of a public-private partnership and will, amongst other things, include a contributions of capital from the private sector.

The work has been delayed because of complaints formulated by citizens’ committees against the decision of the City of Milan to follow up intervention.The transaction should still take it up with the beginning of the year 2016.

POLO TERRITORIALE DI MANTOVASi rendono necessari e non più prorogabili interventi di:- adeguamento di tre gruppi servizi igienici a servizio di altrettante aule ed uffici;- interventi atti all’abbattimento di barriere architettoniche presso gli accessi di alcune aule della sede e presso il cortile interno detto “dei gelsi”;- interventi sulla rete fognaria del cortile interno detto “del pozzo”;- la sostituzione di alcuni serramenti;- la riqualificazione dei servizi igienici al piano primo.Sono inoltre pianificati per gli anni successivi (2017), interventi per:- il risanamento degli intonaci esterni al piede della muratura delle parti in pietra;- la riqualificazione dell’androne di ingresso della sede;- il rifacimento dell’impianto di condizionamento di alcune aule quali Bertani, Andreani, Mantegna e Romano.

MANTOVA CAMPUSWork is necessary which can no longer be put off to a future date, including:- upgrading of three washrooms serving three classrooms and offices;- demolition of architectural barriers at the entrance of certain classrooms and the courtyard known as “Cortile dei Gelsi”;- sewerage maintenance in the inner courtyard known as “Cortile del Pozzo”;- replacement of a number of doors and windows.

Additional work is planned for the following year (2017):- consolidation of plaster on the building’s façade at the base of the masonry;- redevelopment of the building’s lobby;- renovation of air conditioning in the “Bertani”, “Andreani”, “Mantegna” and “Romano” classroomsedevelopment of the 1st floor bathrooms.

POLO TERRITORIALE DI PIACENZALa sede di Piacenza sarà interessata da interventi di manutenzione straordinaria legati alla messa in sicurezza della sede. Sono inoltre previsti interventi straordinari legati all’eliminazione dell’umidità presso le aule ed i laboratori del piano seminterrato.

Saranno realizzati degli interventi sulle coperture, sui pluviali e sulle linee fognarie dell’edificio “Ex Macello”.

Sono attualmente in corso le lavorazioni di rincorsa del tetto dell’edificio ex “Caserma della Neve” per risolvere infiltra-zioni d’acqua sopravvenute nelle aule didattiche.

Sono inoltre da completare gli interventi programmati post sisma, che non compromettono la sicurezza del luogo.

PIACENZA CAMPUSThe Piacenza campus will be the subject of extraordinary maintenance works linked to ensuring safety on the campus. Extraordinary maintenance will also be carried out to eliminate damp in the basement classrooms and laboratories.

Other necessary works will be carried out on the roof, downpipes and on the sewers of the “Ex Macello” building.

They are ongoing processes to run the roof of the former “Caserma della Neve” to solve water infiltration arisen in the classrooms.

Also are to complete planned post-earthquake interventions, which do not compromise the safety of the place.
