What we offer:

Penguin classesSuitable for ages 4½ – 6 years, starting at the basics.

Polar bear classesFollowing on to the penguin’s class, where the kids can furtherdevelop their skills.

Beginner classesWewelcome all ages into our beginner classes, whether you fancytrying your hand (or feet!) at skiing or snowboarding.

Skills classesWeoffer a variety of courses for those wanting to improve their skillsto level 2 onwards, as well as classes that target specific turns andmoves that are sure to impress any audience. Private lessons are alsoavailable on request throughout the holiday period.

Activity week (22nd – 26th July, time: 9.15 – 4.45)

Allows kids who have never been before to learn the basics of skiingand snowboarding, allowing them to progress to a level where they cancome along and practice on their own. Give us a ring for more information.

Looking for a different kindof fun to occupy the kidsthis summer?Why not try a tubing party! High energy fun,sledging down our slopes in giant rubber rings.

At what age canmy children start?The centre caters for children from 3 years upwards (smallest bootis a size 7). Our ‘Penguin’ classes for ages 4 and a half to 6 yearsand our main Junior classes start at 7 years old.

Do I need lessons?If you can turn, stop and use the ski tow in good control of your speedthen you are welcome to use the slope to practice. However if you can’tmeet theminimum ability standard, not to worry – you can take lessonswith us until you can ski safely without guidance.

Newcomers: Please allow 30minutes before your lesson to allowfor fitting of equipment

Returning customers: Please allow 15minutes before your lesson

What do I need to bring?Gloves, long sleeves and trousers are essential. During the summermonths (whenwe are lucky) it is advisable to wear sunscreen,sunglasses and a peaked hat.Waterproof trousers and a jacket arealso recommended. All ski and snowboard equipment can beprovided if required.

How do I get there?Leave the M9motorway at Junction 4 and thenfollow signposts for Ski Centre/Golf Course.Follow the road straight into the Golf Coursecar park. Alternatively, there is access fromthe A905Wholeflats road acrossthe small bridge.
