Statement▶

Polygon Continuum-

*cube : 입방체*polygon : 다각형, 세 개 이상의 선분으로 둘러싸인 평면도형을 말하며, n개의 선분으로 이루어진 다각형은 n개의 변, n개의 꼭지점, n(n－3)/2개의 대각선을 가진다.

내가 느끼는 안락함과 편안함은 입방체의 구조물 안에 있을 때 비롯한다. 그 공간을 벗어나서는 불안해 오는 감정마저 느끼게 한다. 증식해 나가며 분열하는 Cube는 나를 둘러싸고 있는 틀에 대해 집착하고 떠나서는 안 되는, 끊임없이 소유 하고 싶은 대상으로서의 공간을 의미한다. Cube의 형태가 가진 안정된 틀은 집, 방의 구조체와 함께 오버랩 된다.

-동일한 단위들인 다각형의 구조를 반복해 사용하고, 연속적인 배열을 통해 작품 안에서 발생될 수 있는 위계 관 계를 배제하려고 하였다. 즉 공간의 순서보다는 단위들, 혹은 구성 요소 그 자체를 보여주고자 한다. 큐브를 구 성하는 Polygon - 각각의 단위들은 하나의 면이 다른 면으로 이어지고 증식해나가는 원리를 갖는다. 이것은 증 식하면서 분열해 나가는 생물학적인 특징을 가지고 있는 구조체라고 할 수 있다. 동일한 형태를 반복 배열하면 서 새로운 공간을 만들어 나가게 된다.

I feel comfort and comfort comes when i am inside a cubical structure. It makes me feel antsy even emotions coming outside the space. Multiply and divide among the Cube that surround me are obsessed about the framework should not leave, constantly wanting to own means of space as a target. Its the shape of the cube, a stable framework and the certain structures are overlaped with some rooms.

-Repeat the same unit who is using the polygon's structure, work through a continuous array can be raised within the hierarchical relationship, try to rule out. In other words, rather than the order of the units, or component itself. To configure the cube one unit of each side of the Polygon the other side of the globe to multiply our principles. This is proliferative while must out biological characteristics can be said to have structure. The new space is made of the same repeat form.
