    A most unique sight-seeing adventure! Explore The Greenbrier by Segway – no previous experience required! Meet at the Segway practice area for 20 minutes of instruction and then head out with your group for a thrilling tour of The Greenbrier’s majestic grounds at speeds up to 12 mph.

    Casual attire. Closed-toed, athletic-type shoes are required; helmets provided.

    Explore various corners of The Greenbrier property on the back of a beautiful horse, trained to handle riders of all experience levels. Riding is English-style using English saddles. Riding helmets provided. Long pants (jeans or jodhpurs) and close-toed shoes are suggested.

    Hike Raven Rock Trail, roughly six miles climbing almost 1,000 feet in elevation. Long pants or comfortable fitness attire recommended, comfortable tennis/running shoes or hiking boots.

    Fly Fishing at Howard’s Creek at The Greenbrier

    Spectacular catch-and-release fly fishing! Enjoy the gorgeous views of the Allegheny Mountains and fish for trout or small mouth bass in Howard’s Creek right on The Greenbrier property.

    Guided fishing and fly casting instruction; anglers of all skill levels. An extra pair of socks, hat and polarized sunglasses are recommended.

    Since 1913, skeet and trap have been popular pastimes at The Greenbrier. Located atop Kate’s Mountain, the Gun Club features a 10-station sporting clays course designed by Justin Jones and John Higgins of the British School of Shooting and challenges shooters of all skill levels. Shooters are provided with a Professional Trap Attendant to ensure that each shooter has a safe and enjoyable experience. For advanced and novice shooters. Casual attire, including sport shirts and jeans; close toe shoes required.

    Mountaineer Experience at The Greenbrier

    GROUP #1 – 9:00-11:00 A.M.GROUP #2 – 1:00-3:00 P.M.

    Experience the feeling and excitement of archery, air rifle shooting and traditional tomahawk throwing.

    • Traditional archery using recurve bows and arrows• Using high-powered .22 air rifles, shoot a wide range of dynamic pellet rifle

    targets• Test your ability tomahawk throwing at different range stations and varying

    targets, yardage and angles

    The archery course is located less than 10 minutes from The Greenbrier. Casual attire, including sport shirts, walking shorts and jeans; close toe shoes required.

    Aerial Adventure Course9:30 – 11:30 A.M.

    The Aerial Adventure Course is designed for fun for all ages and skill levels. Participants will navigate 12 challenges, all 45-50 feet in the air. Challenges can be completed alone or in a group. Participants are harnessed and clipped onto the course and encouraged to try all challenges multiple times. The final challenge features a free fall device for the ultimate rush. Challenges include:

    Alpine Tower2:30 – 4:30 P.M.

    Prepare for the climb of your life. Probably the largest jungle gym you’ve ever seen. The Alpine Tower stands 50 feet high with more than 20 routes to the top. Experience standing at the top of this tower, looking over the edge at the ground 50 feet below.

    Suitable for participants of all ages. Staff is highly skilled in safety procedures, inspecting equipment regularly, and taking every precaution to avoid injury. The Alpine Tower is located less than 10 minutes from The Greenbrier.

    Casual attire, including sport shirts, walking shorts or jeans; close toe shoes required.

    Off-Road Polaris RZR Adventure at the Greenbrier

    10:00 A.M. – 12:00 P.M.

    Get behind the wheel of the most extreme off-road vehicle on the planet and explore the majestic mountains of West Virginia for a unique and exhilarating experience. A highly trained guide will lead and instruct you in a specialized Polaris RZR through The Greenbrier’s private 11,000-acre mountain preserve. The terrain varies from modest unpaved roads to some of the most extreme on the East Coast with rocks, ruts, creek crossings and steep hills. There is a very good chance you may get some mountain mud on you!

    Driver’s must have a valid driver’s license. Each Polaris RZR seats four. Driver and passengers – resort casual outdoor attire recommended, closed-toe shoes or boots required; helmets and eye protection provided. Lunch provided during ride.

    Polaris Slingshot Driving Adventure at the Greenbrier

    9:00 A.M. – 12:30 P.M.

    Experience a drive unlike anything you’ve imagined with a scenic trip through the winding hills and valleys of West Virginia in a Polaris Slingshot, taking in breathtaking views in an area bathed in history and tradition.

    Drivers must be 25 years of age, have a valid driver’s license, and able to drive a manual transmission.

    Passengers are required to wear a helmet, eye protection, long sleeve shirt, gloves, long pants and over-the-ankle boots.
