  • On the site of a residential building with services in the groundfloor, I decided to design a new building according to importance of the site, which is exposed to everyone coming from south to the city.

The volume of the new house closes the space of main square on one side. On the other side, it opens to the river and invites to enter the city.

Importance of the site determined program in the form of multifunctional hall, which I combined with elementary art school.Left wing is designed for music, dance and dramatic department. There is concert hall with 100 seats on the ground floor and dance hall with mirrors on first floor over two floors and a

recording studio on the second floor.Right wing is used for administration and art department. The art rooms are oriented to the north due to the light. The main entrance and foyer is an exhibition hall in the same time. The multifunctional hall with 400 seats has facilities underground, from where is possible to 1.3

    2.1

To enable conflict-free coexistence of two generations, I have divided the internal space of the house into private and common areas. Both generations have their own entrance, bedroom with plenty of privacy and kitchen. When needed, they can all meet in the heart of the house or visit themselves in living rooms, which are separated

  • The theater pavilion is based on the moment of surprise. Drab facade hides a magnificent interior. Entrance in children scale is a gateway to another world. The building is covered by plywood boards, which later gets the right patina. There is other entrance in addition to the main childrenscaled entrance, which doors are made of the same

material as the facade, what keeps it hidden from childrens eyes.

Construction of the building is efficient and effective. The basic frame of wooden beams covers the exterior layer of waterproof plywood construction. The constraction is based on ground

  • The main entrance for children has size 625 x 1250 mm. After entering you can walk into the main hall or climb on to the balcony designed in childrens proportions. Safety requirements and transparency is solved by black net without installing railings. For larger visitors is made entrance of standardized dimensions on the side, and behind the stage is

    even larger service acces.

Variability - instead of chairs is theater equipped with a modular boxes. From those could be built elevated auditorium and cover wall of the stage. The stage is not limited to the space behind the curtain. Performances can play under the balcony

Pedlice are real ghetto, urban distirct outlying from city centre, where live mostly socially underprivileged and Roma. I tried to disturb both - material and social barriers - by the proposal of public transport stop associated with fastfood as a social workshop. The workshop can give the ghetto residents what they really need: work, and on the

other side to show the city inhabitants that they are not location without solution. Bus stop with bistro should become a bridge between the city center and the ghetto Pedlice.I am reconstructing a burned building to place there the bus stop and fastfood. The property is in the pledge, and apparently has no future. I

open the front facade of the house to the sidewalk and into the sky. Illuminate the interior space by removing the ceiling to the roof covered with transparent roofing. Interior become a public space by opening the windows to the level of the sidewalk. I place kitchen and store to the back part of the building.

  • Functionally, the space is divided into horizontal stripes. From the public space of pavement entering semi-public indoor staircase to reach closeable volume of fastfood. Stairs in front of fastfood are suitable for short term sitting. .

Materials for reconstruction are chosen due to nearby industrial zone. I use contemporary industrial materials - steel and polycarbonate sheets, to make the building different from the others. Highlighting the stop is neccesary for its function. Another element emphasizing the building are lights on the end of steel beams

holding the front facade. The building is at night due to tranpsarent roof and no ceilings shining. Light is important tool against crime, which is combined with cameras. Bus stop is kept partially opened in the night and provide a sense of security.

  • Atacama Desert is the driest place on Earth. Water is in hidden flows beneath the surface. Lakes have mostly dried up, leaving a salty plains.Pictures of the landscape look like from another world. Area occupies a minimum amount of people, animals and plants. The pattern of a dry salt lake became inspiration for the design of the

archeological museum in the town of San Pedro.I have overlayed the site by polygon grid and let some polygons grow in white buildings. The unusual architecture of San Pedro is caused by rare climatic conditions. The streets are created by monolithic high walls that keep valuable night cold air for the daytime.

I followed homogeneous form of the streets, creating compact exterior wall of the museum. Its height does not change much. It is disturbed just by three entrances. Putting the courtyard one meter deeper in the ground, is separating the museum from the common world of the village.

Changing conditions do not let the visitor stagnate. Changing exhibition is one compact hall, suitable for different types of exhibitions. 5.2

Life offices The area is located in a compact built area of ikov (Prague district), but it was disrupted by ideologically motivated asanation and replacement of the original building blocks by panelhousing. I am replacing volumes that do not respect the street line and creates a nonfunctional public space, creating an open complex of office buildings

with shops, cafe and restaurants.I place new offices and shops int the city structure because I am convinced of the importance of diversity of functions in the city center. Offices tight other people to the site when inhabitants of the surrounding houses go to work. It also brings more customers for the services. The smallest

The site is situated on bank of the river that forms the border between the village and the castle park. Baroque park is a very significant place. Open meadow. Large oak trees lining the river. Castle with a brewery, a mill and a baroque church are the dominants of village.

I found inspiration during the site visit. There were logs on grass on the riverbanks. I have designed a composition of log elements, seemed to be casually deployed on the site. The proposal is a private atelier and common space in the same time. Studio module is fixed on the living module, accessible only by rope ladder, deliberately separated from

the rest of the space. Three elements: a living module, a bath module and a workshop are covering the terrace keeping the view on the river and meadow.

The atelier is only a table, chair, shelves and lots of space. It is possible to separate it from the bottom by cover. The largest module itself does not mean only the kitchen but also the relax area, space at the window ellipticaly shaped in section with no flat floor. The interior is heated by a fireplace.

The kitchen can be opened with a sliding door. The boundaries between interior and exterior disappears. In bath module man first undresses and self washes in the bathroom with dressing room and then enter into a heated sauna. From there you can acces the cold river using steps.

The workshop is also used as a warehouse. One wall can be opened to work outside.

Growing gravestone The idea of the gravestone design is based on the building blocks formed of repositories for urns.Growth is the advantage of this concept of the tomb. Gradually you can build a family tomb or create an individual tombstone. Gravestones can be placed in groups or separately.

The whole gravestone consists of the following parts:

Lantern: the upper part with space for candlesUrn ark: middle parts large enough to insert the official urns(Inner space is cylinder 25 x 30 cm)

The base ring fixed in the ground.

All parts are made of fine-grain colored concrete.
