Spatial CompositionFirstly, I made a less spatial model, more with laying out, sym-bolising the eight diagrams in ancient China. And the one is inter-esting in ideas, a little out of topic. So I just redo a new one, and these pictures show my second model, its plan and section. The shadow with interlaced lines are so beautiful, so I wanna show the shadow in pictures, which is also an important part of the model.

LandformingIn the first model, I use twrong materials. And it was a really rough work. So in this model, I change materials which are wood and white cardboard, which makes the model looks neater and more formal.

Debate:One day, someone was deeply impressed by an amazing building. Then he convened a debate to discuss that how and what to be built with fellows. “skyscraper! Then we can live in sky, and that’s really easy, just elevate floors until we reach sky”, someone proposed. “Idealism, as it takes such a long time to be build! how about creating a 4D space?” someone proposed a new one. This conversation then go to infinite loop in this debate. Finally, they’ve got wreath of plans. However, when they start making models, they found they even cannot hold anything because they are frogs.

Final Project:Frogs Without Hands

The project is based on concrete lawn. And the story behind the project is about a group of frogs discuss-ing about how to make a wonderful architecture. Based on the topic(debate), which is literally defined as contention in argument, qurelling, that is a group activity.

Therefore, I create a lot of platforms wrapping around the stage. Some work as auditorium, some work as pathways for frogs to the stage. There are water boxes between platforms that provide a place for frogs to rest. The trees grow through the plat-forms, offering frogs shadows, under the platform is a hallway for pedestrains to walk in, which makes anmals and human be in a harmony. The stage is em-phasised by elevating disks, based on a pool. Frogs can get on top whenever they wanna speak out their contentions.

About the material, I choose the dar one because I wanna create an atmosphere of heated debate. Al-though the lighter one is usually used ouside, it would cool the atmosphere.
