Dear Mom, Dad, Nanny, and Granddaddy,

I know I am going to be in a lot of trouble because I used the time machine to travel back in 1777 and 1778 and landed in Valley Forge with George Washington. I found out that a lot of the soldiers were hungry and had diseases and wanted to quit, but they didn’t. When I was talking to them they said they were trying to pull together a plan.

love,Alice

Dear Mom, I went back in time to September 17,1789. I was walking and I heard people shouting. It turned out to be a speech. Benjamin Franklin was the one talking. I asked if I could speak too. He said yes. Many people liked my ideas. After the speech we went out for ice cream. I said hi to him for you. Next time I’m bringing you. Also I was on the100 dollar bill with him when it came out.Sincerely, Kalvin

Dear Mommy,When I was riding my bike I rode on a nail and got a flat tire, so I rolled my bike to an old telephone booth. So when I started to type in our number it time warped me to Valley Forge during the Revolutionary War in 1777-1778. I actually got to meet George Washington when the army was at camp!

He decided that I would do good in his army so he got me a uniform, a tent and a sleeping bag. I asked him what this was for and he said it was so I could have a place to sleep while we get ready for battle. The next day he gave me a horse and said that I was going to help him lead his Continental Army! So we won the war and right after I won a medal and was thanked and I was time warped back to 2007.

Dear Mom,

I was traveling in time and landed in Valley Forge on December 19, 1777. Do you remember when George Washington was the leader? It’s really cold up here, so can you send blankets and other supplies such as medicine, food, gun powder, and some more pairs of clothes.

Love your son, Mike
