Challenges of potato sector in Ukraine- Own seed multiplication instead of usage of professional seeds- Farmers unable to supply sufficient amount of unified quality of the
same variety of potato - Poor cooperation between producers for export contracts - No contracting with retail and HoReCa – poor planning - No potato traders. Seed companies are mostly involved in export
support- Slow increase of production area of potato for processing- Lack of new standards for potato sector- Slow process of harmonisation with EU legislation - Insufficient state support of potato producers and processors
