STEPS FOR STUDENTS TO JOIN A GOOGLE CLASSROOM
1. Open Google Chrome browser and
type Gmail.com in the address bar.
2. Enter your Email ID provided by the
School and click Next .
3. Type your Email Id
Your Email ID is :
Enter your Password. Password for
the first time is 12345678
Click Next.
5. Students will receive an invitation mail from the teacher
6.Click on the mail which you have received from your teacher
7.Click join
8. Click “I’M A STUDENT”
9. This is the screen you will get after clicking on “I M A STUDENT”, having 3 tabs in
the class namely Stream, Classwork, People. Each tab is having specific functions.
STREAM
The Stream contains all posts in
chronological order from newest to oldest.
It helps you to communicate with your
teacher.

Assignments
A Classwork page is being introduced allowing teachers to assign work to the
class. Students can view the assignments given .
Students can view the assignments given by clicking on any of the links
Students can click on custom made google
sheets.Answer the questions and submit it .
Once student has answered all the question , student will click on
“Turn In” for uploading the response.
Student can also join live telecast
Click “Classwork” Click “Google Calendar”
Click “Got it” Click “Date”
Your teacher must have scheduled your class live session,
you will get the day and date.
Click “Join Hangouts", you will be part of online class
and you will see your teacher.
A People page will allow students
to view Teachers and all
Classmates.
STEPS FOR STUDENTS HOW TO DOWNLOAD GOOGLE
CLASSROOM APP ON YOUR MOBILE
1. Go to Play Store on your phone
2. Type Google Classroom
3. Click Install
4. Click Open 5. Click GET STARTED
6. If you are using your School
email id then click on ok
OR
Click “ADD ACCOUNT” to login
using school email id
7. You will join your
classroom and access all
assignments given by the
teacher.
