ABOUT USBlackwater Technologies, Inc. was founded in August 2010 by Chris Blackwell. Our primary focus was bringing low voltage service to the local commercial industry. Only five short months later Blackwater Technologies had gained distributing rights from Notifier and several other significant companies in the market. We opened our first office as a full service company in Carrollton Georgia in August of 2011. With this new work force and a great combination of skill from each partner, we moved forward from our original focus on just commercial companies to encompass a wide scope of industrial, educational, medical, institutional, and other special range facilities. We were given the chance to expand and by April of 2012 we were opening our first distributing branch in Chelsea Alabama lead by Jason Cole. This branch services the whole state of Alabama. Blackwater Technologies also provides service to Tennessee, South Carolina, North Carolina, and Florida.

Chris Blackwell, President Chris has 17 years of experience in Fire Alarm, Security, Access Control, Paging, and Intercom system application experience. He is NICET II in fire alarm system design. Chris has a number of year's technical experience along with a well-respected pedigree of design build projects in and around the state of Georgia. He is also in possession of an Unrestricted Low Voltage license for the State of Georgia, North Carolina and Alabama.

Jason Cole, Vice President Jason has 19 years of experience in fire alarm system applications. Jason has a number of year's technical experience in the field along with a well-respected pedigree of design build projects in and around the state of Alabama. Jason is a NICET Level III certified of fire alarm system design.

Chris Flack, Service Manager-Georgia Chris has 10 years of experience in Fire Alarm, Security, CCTV and Access Control service and application experience. Chris is NICET III certified in fire alarm system design and Operation. Chris is also in possession of Notifiers highest level training and programming certificates.

Barry Thomas - Service Manager-AlabamaBarry has 27 years of Fire Alarm Experience; he is also hold a NICET IV Certification. Barry possesses

the highest level of Notifier Certification and Training.

Sprinkler systems are a key element in fire protection. We provide system inspection, maintenance, repair, or expansion of your sprinkler system. We can retrofit sprinkler heads. Do valve, tamper/flow, switches, and backflow prevention repairs as well.

INSPECTIONS & SALES

Blackwater Technologies provides monthly, semi-annual, quarterly, and annual fire extinguisher inspections. We provide on-site recharges, repairs, 6-year maintenance agreements, hydrostatic testing, and extinguisher servicing to meet your specific fire protection needs. We not only service and inspect your fire extinguisher equipment, but we also provide new installations and product sales depending on the classification of the fire hazards of your facility. Our trained sales staff can provide a site survey at no initial cost.

COMMERCIAL PROJECTS

Douglas County Adult Detention Facility

In 2013 Blackwater was contracted to provide the Fire Alarm for the new 1500 Bed Detention Facility. The adult detention houses the Douglas County Sheriff’s Department and a number of other law enforcement departments. This project was voted a Top 5 Green project in the nation.

TACG Automotive

In 2014, TACG expanded their existing plant by 600k square foot in 2014 bring it to a total foot print of 1.2 million. This was largely due to the need for increased production volume. Blackwater installed a Mass Notification system along with a complete Fire Alarm system to keep this building and its people protected.

SOUTHWEST AIRLINES

Southwest Airlines recently underwent a remodel at their College Park, GA location. Blackwater did a complete rebuild of their existing fire alarm system and relocation of Access and CCTV devices

PHARMAVITE

Pharmavite is one of the nation’s largest manufacturers of high quality vitamins, minerals, and other dietary supplements. They have constructed their new east coast Company in Opelika Alabama. This facility occupies 50-acres and is over 300,000 square foot. We have installed a complete Notifier fire alarm system within this facility and are currently working on a second phase to begin.

MITSUBISHI POWER SYSTEMS

Blackwater Technologies has been granted the opportunity to be a part of Mitsubishi Power Systems latest project in Pooler Georgia. Blackwater has installed Fire Alarm, CCTV, Security, Oil pump monitoring, and Paging throughout the 6 phases of this project. Blackwater was able to offer Mitsubishi a full 5 year warranty on this project.

TICA

The Toyota Industries Corporation has constructed a new manufacturing plant known as TICA (Toyota Industries Compressor Parts America, Co.) that will be producing parts for the North American car air-conditioning compressor market. We have installed a networked Notifier Alarm System, a Pelco Network Camera System and a Honeywell Niagra Access Control platform along with an 8-zone Bogen paging system with 2k watts of power. This system will not only be used for its paging abilities, but also for its weather alert capabilities and shift change.
