Dear Colleagues
We are pleased to welcome you to the 2nd Interactive Course in Practical Neuro-Ophthalmology at Schloss Au (Au Castle) near Zurich, Switzerland. The course is also officially accredited as a 2nd update meeting in Neuro-Ophthalmology by the European Neuro-Ophthalmological Society (EUNOS).
The course will be held by Professor Jonathan Trobe from the University of Michigan, who earned high acclaim from all over the world for his innovative didactic concept. This year, we are proud to welcome Professor David Zee from the Johns Hopkins University as a special guest.
The course is aimed at practicing Ophthalmologists and Neurologists at all le-vels. It will cover the most relevant clinical topics of Neuro-Ophthalmology in four blocks. Each topic will first be introduced in a plenary session and then further elaborated in small groups based on interactive clinical cases.
We are looking forward to an inspiring teaching session in an extraordinary atmosphere at Schloss Au.

Dr. Jonathan D. Trobe is Pro-fessor for both Ophthalmology and Neurology at the University of Michigan. As an author of several textbooks and longstan-ding Editor of the “Journal of Neuro-Ophthalmology”, he is a
renowned expert in the field with an excellent reputation as a teacher.
Dr. David S. Zee is Professor of Neurology with joint appoint-ments in Ophthalmology, Oto-laryngology and Neuroscience at Johns Hopkins University. As a co-author of the standard textbook “The Neurology of Eye
Movements”, he is one of the doyens on the topic of ocular motor disorders.

General Information
The “Tagungszentrum Schloss Au” is located in an idyllic nature reserve 30 min outside Zurich by train. The S-Bahn S8 leaves every 30 min from “Zürich HB” to “Au (ZH)”, a 10 min walk takes you to the castle. Parking in the area is strictly limited. After the first course day, a boat will take you from the “Schiffstation Halbinsel Au” directly to the social dinner at the Seerestaurant Quai 61 in Zurich.
