SANS 10086-1, 10086-2, the OSH Act andthe MHS Act require periodic inspections ofequipment installed in hazardous locations.These kits are designed as replacementsfor Ex d glands where inspection hasrevealed that the integrity of the existingbushes has been compromised.


The correct bush kit must be selected and fitted -Failure to do so will lead to a dangerous installation!The number moulded on the replacement bushesmust also be checked against the number mouldedon the existing bushes to ensure the gland is not anobsolete design.
