Welcome to our guests this morning. We are glad you have chosen to
worship God with our church family and invite you to stay for fellowship
time following worship. Please fill out a Guest Card in fellowship hall.
Dine Out for BACN is Tuesday, October 7th at Stormcloud Brewing Co. in
Frankfort or Cold Creek Inn in Beulah. Eat dinner at these partner
restaurants and they donate 10% to BACN.
Lunch with Friends will gather at Skip and Mary Lou Noble’s home on
Thursday, October 9th at Noon. Please bring a dish to pass, table service
is provided.
The Daniel Plan group will meet on Saturday, October 11th, 1 pm at the
church.
On Sunday, October 12th, our new Middler Sunday School children will be
receiving their own Children’s Bibles from the church during worship.
Let’s all celebrate by carrying our Bibles to church with us next Sunday!
Pie Day is Friday, November 7th at the White Owl. Signup sheets are
posted in fellowship hall! Please look them over and put your name
down next to the job you would like to do. Thank you to all those who are
out taking orders!
What is Shepherd Ministry? It is a means to have a shared responsibility
for the ministry at Blaine Christian Church by visiting the homebound and
sharing communion with them. If you think this might be something you
are interested in, please come to a meeting on Monday, October 13th,
10 am at the church. We will discuss this ministry, go over a list of mem-
bers that could use visitations, and establish a means of seeing them all
on a regular basis. Please call Mary Lou Noble, Coordinator at 352-7035
with any questions.
The choir will begin rehearsing for the Christmas Cantata this month and
welcomes those who would like to join them to sing in this special
service on Sunday, December 21st at 10:00 am. Please talk with
Carolyn Waterson if you have questions, or join us at practice on Sundays
at 6 pm.
Habitat for Humanity upcoming Dinners:
On Sunday, October 12th, 4:30-6:30pm, the Frankfort-Elberta United
Methodist Church will hold its annual Spaghetti Dinner. A free will offer-
ing will be accepted. On Saturday, October 25th, 5:30-7:00pm, Blaine Christian Church will
have Breakfast for Dinner. A free will offering will be accepted.
