Airgle® Extraoral Dental Smart FlexHose is engineered to facilitate theremoval of potentially harmful aerosols and droplets produced duringprocedures that require high-speed scaling and drilling. Potentially infectious micro-droplets in the air are a serious concern. Selecting an air purification system that has an extraorala�achment is important, but you don’t want large droplets of blood and saliva to contaminate the inside of it. We designed theAG600D with hygiene in mind. The disposable and easily removable snout improves spot collection of particles and droplets aerosolized by dental procedures. The disposable filter keeps large droplets and particles from entering the a�achmentand from becoming lodged in the Evacuation Arm prior to reaching the AG600 purifier.

Environmental control for dental o�icesDentists and dental technicians are, quite rightly, concerned about infection from and between their patients. The CDCsaid dentistry was the most “at risk” profession in the USA even before the pandemic.

NIH research shows that micro-droplets containing viable, viral particles stay in the air for more than 3 hours. That research did not even address micro-droplets ejected from a patient’s mouth during dental procedures.

These environments require specialized air purification solutions so that dental o�ices are safe and clean.

Physical distancing works by separating people and reducing the viral threat. But, that is not practical in a dental or medicalpractice. We provide Mechanical Distancing™ to remove the virus from where people are and taking it out of the air as quickly as possible.

Under the New CDC guidelines portable air filtration units should be near the patient’s chair, but not behind DHCP. Airflow show be directed across the patient away from the DHCP.

The casters ensure that the unit is easy to position. This combined with Airgle’s directional airflow allows the DHCP to properly position the unit to ensure that air is not drawn or blown toward the DHCP.

Chemicals used for surface sterilization release VOCs into the air. The AG600 features 3.5 lbs. of activated carbon to captures chemicals, tobacco smoke, odors, and volatile organic compounds (VOCs). Coconut shells produce extremely high surface area when turned into activated carbon. This allows a higher capacity per pound to capture VOCs and other pollutants than other types of activated carbon. In addition, coconut shells are a completely renewable resource.
