...precision rubber technology for the printed circuit board industry.
Wagner’s Competitive Advantages:
Lamination (Dry-Film)
• Proprietary precision grinding technology verified by laser mapping systems to avoid wrinkles caused by rollers.
• Proprietary compounds with special additives to transfer heat evenly and faster than conventional silicone.
• Proprietary compounds designed to prevent acid damage caused by double-feeds.
• Proprietary technology allowing the elimination of micro-bubbles and pits.
• Complete fabrication of all OEM rollers.
• Micro-Temp™– proprietary thermal roller technology designed to
provide even temperature profile across the face of the roller.• Watt-Flex™ – cartridge heater technology eliminating
the use of heat-sinc and improvingtemperature profile.

Wagner Rubber Products, founded in 1968 in
Huntington Park, California, is the premier PCB rubber
roller manufacturer in the United States. With 80
percent of the North American market share, Wagner’s
rollers are endorsed by a majority of the original
equipment manufacturers, including DuPont, OTS
Technology, Maintech, SDI and others.
Since 1999, Wagner has experienced over 800 percent
growth. Our manufacturing team has well over 200
years of combined experience. Wagner’s research and
development efforts are responsible for bringing the
PCB industry Micro-Temp™ (thermal roll technology),
Wrinkle-Stop™ (dual durometer technology),
Microgroove™ (liquid resist technology), Watt-Flex™
(cartridge heater technology), superior tacky cleaning
rolls, non-swelling materials for develop, etch and strip
(DES) machines, and a variety of formulations to
combat acid in lamination rolls.
Dust removal
• Proprietary compounds made from liquid silicone, gum silicone orpolyurethane compounds.
• Three different compounds available: very tacky (light blue), moderatetacky (gray) and less tacky (green).
• Wagner provides tacky materials for numerous OEMs worldwide.
• Complete fabrication of all types of OEM rollers.
Develop, etch and strip
• Complete fabrication of all types of OEM rollers and molded rubber and plastic.
• Extruded sleeves made of EPDM, Butyl, Santoprene or any exotic compound. All compounds made with proprietary ingredients proven over many decades.
• Diagnosis of swelling or cracking caused by aggressive chemicals in DES squeegee chambers.
• Specialized metals, composites and plastics to help prolong the life of the roller as well as drag-out caused by sagging squeegee rollers.

Lamination (Liquid resist)
• Microgroove™ – we are the only vendor in the world with a proprietary grooving technology that is certified by Shipley and Burkle.
• Proprietary compounds developed to improve durability and Microgroove™ consistency.
• Proprietary precision grinding technology allowing even thickness across the face of the roll.
• Visual and statistical data provided on each roller through proprietary laser technology to ensure groove depth and width.
• Complete fabrication of all types of OEM rollers.
