The QA/QC Planning for DUNE started on May/June based on

ProtoDUNE 1 lessons and with FNAL Quality Team support.

Definitions :

- Quality Assurance Plan

“With a focus on processes, it aims to ensure and document the

procedures and tests that must be followed for the production and validation of PDS's”

- Quality Control Plan

“With a focus on the PDS products, it aims to ensure tests for

validation of materials, components and devices”



The QA - Quality Assurance Plan:

- The QA/QC documentation must be stored in the EDMS repository by

recommendation of FNAL QC/QA Team

- Defines QA/QC Teams and responsibilities in each workgroup

- Defines the structure for PDS parts construction & traceability

- Documentes all procedures and docs for PDS validations and tests

Summary

- The materials experiments/studies & small batches of PDS type X-ARAPUCA was a nice preparation/school for QA/QC plans for DUNE to Sc!Lab - We are expanding the ProtoDUNE 1 QA/QC control system with support from the FNAL Quality Team (Jim & Kevin). That recomendates the use of EDMS as official repository - Designation of local people for QA/QC in each work group is planned - QA/QC documents are part of the Data Management Plan and are available in the DUNE database. - Forms and travelers for ProtoDUNE 2 are being generated and preliminary documentation is ready or being generated - The DUNE delivery final packaging and travelers are part of the manufacturing process.

- It was founded in 1982, located in Campinas state of São Paulo, is currently a

branch of the “MCTI” - Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovations.

- A research pot-pourri is carried out in sensors, materials, micro-nano-organic-

electronics, photonics, 3D printing, artificial intelligence, ... and also ... our Lab

of Scientific Instrumentation- “ Sc!Lab ”
