This high-performance cable exceeds the TIA’s requirements for Category 5e. Typical crosstalk performance (NEXT, PSNEXT, ELFEXT and PSELFEXT) exceeds TIA requirements by 3 dB or more. Additionally, the cable exceeds TIA requirements for SRL and skew, resulting in less noise from reflected signals and elimination of timing errors in multipair applications. The 24 AWG four-pair cable is available in riser- and plenum-rated versions. The cable is packaged in 1000-foot lengths either on reels or easy-payout reel-in-a-box. To reduce scrap during installation, longer-length 2000- and 3000- foot reels are available on request. The outer jacket is available in white, gray, blue or yellow.

This eight-position modular jack offers enhanced performance at component, link and channel levels. Additionally, to simplify installation and to offer increased flexibility, the jack allows for universal termination in either the T568A or T568B wiring pattern without field installation of labels. The AMP NETCONNECT XG System is a high performance multimodefiber optic cabling system which has been designed to meet the require-ments of the 10 GigaBit Ethernet and 10 GigaBit Fibre Channel appli-cations.

The system fulfills the specifications of IEEE 802.3ae for 10GBase-SR (10 GigaBit Ethernet serial transmission on 850 nm) and complies to the upcoming fiber type and link class definitions of the 2nd edition of ISO 11801. In addition, the XG products also support the complete range of 50/125 µm legacy LED and laser-based applications.

All system components have been designed and optimized to provide the best multimode system performance possible in order to ensure com-patibility for the upcoming GigaBit and 10 GigaBit network applications.

AMP NETCONNECT simplex and zipcord interconnect cables are designed for use in jumpers and pigtails and in connectorization processes. AMP NETCONNECT DUAL Fiber and QUAD Fiber interconnect cables are designed for use in jumpers, pigtails and as horizontal cables. MT-RJ Jack Pigtail Assemblies

The AMP NETCONNECT MT-RJ jack cable assembly is a no-epoxy, no-polish two-fiber pigtailed cable assembly used for splicing into distribution cable at the patch panel or consolidation point. This product performs the function of the jack in the plug/jack interface of the MT-RJ system, eliminating the need for a separate adapter. Installation is achieved by fusion splicing or mechanically splicing to the distribution cable. The AMP NETCONNECT MT-RJ connector meets or exceeds the requirements of TIA/EIA-568-B and ISO 11801 and is part of the Tyco Electronics 25-year Component and System Warranties.

The MT-RJ outlet jack is a no-epoxy, no-polish, and no-crimp, reusable two-fiber connector that makes optical fiber termination faster and easier than with traditional connectors. It is compatible with AMP NETCONNECT SL Series and 110Connect faceplates. The MT-RJ outlet jacks come with one actuation key, one 900µm fiber guide, one SL Series housing, a strain relief and dust cover. The MT-RJ jack exceeds the requirements of ANSI/TIA/EIA-568-B and ISO 11801 and is part of the AMP NETCONNECT 25-Year Component and System Warranties.
