What is eduWeavereduWeavereduWeavereduWeaver? eduWeavereduWeavereduWeavereduWeaver is a Courseware Design Tool eduWeavereduWeavereduWeavereduWeaver has been realised in the course of the project
eduBITE1
eduWeavereduWeavereduWeavereduWeaver allows the platform-independent design and maintenance of new and existing courses at all levels
eduWeavereduWeavereduWeavereduWeaver allows the creation and usage of a knowledge pool eduWeavereduWeavereduWeavereduWeaver helps to minimise the effort for both offline and online
learning preparations eduWeavereduWeavereduWeavereduWeaver allows the reuse of existing learning materials (so-
called reusable learning objects (RLO) for diverse course settings eduWeavereduWeavereduWeavereduWeaver can serve as a RLO share medium, where diverse
instructors could share their RLOs as they wish eduWeavereduWeavereduWeavereduWeaver allows the automatic export of courses in diverse
learning management platforms next to other formats, such as XML, HTML, or also ADL
1eduBITE has been realised with the financial support of Bundesministerium für Wissenschaft und Forschung in the course of NML.

One Course consists of 1 to n ModulesModulesModulesModules. In Prof. Tobin‘s case these may be e.g.“Algebra“, “Set Theory“, “Geometry“, etc.
A Module contains 1 to n LectionsLectionsLectionsLections, whereas a Lection is seen as a unit (e.g. 1 hr.).In Prof. Tobin‘s case this may be e.g. “Pyramids“
A Lection is composed ofRLOsRLOsRLOsRLOs, as for instance “Ex. 2of Pyramid HeightCalculations“
The LearningLearningLearningLearning ObjectObjectObjectObject PoolPoolPoolPool contains all RLOs of an instructor. They are reusable, i.e. for instance in Prof. Tobin‘s Case that the majority of all his RLOs could beused in his four courses.
