Computer Science Students
The UGA Computer Science Department has nearly 1,000 students majoring and over 150 studentsminoring in Computer Science. The major has seen tremendous growth over the past several years.
There are a number of ways you are welcome to engage with our students!

The UGA Career Center provides interview space for employersto meet with students right on campus. We provide a
professional atmosphere with 14 private interview rooms foryou to meet individually with students to discuss full-time
and internship positions. The prime recruiting seasonstypically run from September through November and February

The Association for Computing Machinery is the department'sprimary student organization. ACM hosts monthly "CareerNights" where employers can present to students about theircompany and opportunities. Reach out to ACM FacultyAdvisor, Brad Barnes, at [email protected] for moreinformation.

Intern For A Day is a voluntary job shadowing experience thatranges from 1 day to 1 week. Students spend time observing
and working with employers to gain an understanding of theculture of the organization and its industry. To learn more
