b. It becomes one issue in acquiring input concerning how students acquire English by using three paths of logic (a term by Levin : 2004) or reasoning skills namely Inductive, Deductive and Abductive
c. Inductive (Aristoteles, tahun berapa?, Deductive (.Siapa, Kapan?), Abductive (Peirce, tahun berapa)

Which reasoning skill is the most preferred for Indonesia students in acquiring English as a second language?
C. Research Objective
The objective of the research is to find out which reasoning skill is the most preferred reasoning skill for Indonesia students in acquiring English as a second language?

D. Signficance of the Research
Theoretical contribution.It will analyze the most preferred reasoning skill that can be used to know how brain of Indonesian students acquires English as a second language.
D. Signficance of the Research
Practically Contribution It is expected to give useful information for the
curriculum development, teachers and students to use appropriate approach in English instruction.
It is expected to be helpful information for other researchers who will conduct further research on the same topic.

This research is under psycholinguistic. It is limited on students’ translating activities by using poem, questionnair and observation for a month

A . Previous Related Fndings
Herron (1992), Brown (2001), Meydiawati (2011) found that inductive reasoning is more effective.
Conversely, Erlam (2003) found that deductive reasoning is more superior than inductive reasoning.
On the other side, Turrisi (1990) and 1983 concluded that abductive makes teachers to give students abundant opportunities to experiment in spontaneous use of the language.

Inductive : indirect relation of conclusion and its premises.
Deductive : beginning with general principles and deducing individual details from them.
Abductive : Its logic is explanatory which considers all phenomenon, factors, and consequence from many spontaneous and arranged daily activities that will influence language acquisition.

B. Research Population & Subject
Population The second semester junior high students of Bosowa International School academic year 2013/2014. There is one class that consists of 23 students.
Subject
Female Student of Junior High School who live in dormitory. They are 12 – 13 years old who are still in
critical periods.
C. Research Instrument
Artifacts (by translating activity), Observation and Questionnaire.

D. Procedure in Collecting Data
Translating Activity Giving a poem for students to be translated in Indonesia. Analyzing the result of translating activity to see the original poem by
Taufik Ismail.Observation
The researcher will do observation in female dormitory. The researcher participates in the situation while observing and collecting data.
Questionnaire Preparing some questions for questionnaires. Choose some purposive students as subject Calling the subject to know their free time to fill the questionnaire. Analyzing the questionnaire recording qualitatively to know the students’ preference reasoning skill..
E. Technique of Data Analysis
Organizing the data. Categorizing, analyzing and interpreting the data. Reporting the data. .
