Presentation Guidelines for Interactive Session Speakers

These are the guidelines for speakers to present a paper in the Symposium. Please follow these instructions carefully in order to ensure the smooth preparation for the presentation.

SPEAKER REGISTRATION Speakers are required to make a registration November 8th, 2019, prior to the symposium. Please visit the website: https://www.its-jp.org/event/its_symposium/17th2019/registration/.

• Registration fee: Regular ¥15,000 / Full-time student ¥8,000 • Payment: please input your last name as a reference. Bank transfer fee would be borne by you.

SUBMISSION OF A POWERPOINT SLIDE You are required to submit one Powerpoint slide for the Shotgun, using the attached template. The slides will be projected sequentially in presentation order. Please briefly outline your research for audience.

• Deadline of slide submission: November 18th, 2019 • Send to [email protected] • Subject name: Shogun PPT • PPT File name: your poster ID (e.g. 1-A-01) • Slide: Aspect Ratio 4:3

YOUR POSTER A poster of A-0(zero) size is recommended. Please indicate paper title and author names in the top of your posters, which should be well-designed to create informative and fruitful discussions interactively with audience. Place: Session room in Ishikawa Industrial Promotion Center Please exhibit your posters at the display board with your presentation number. Adhesive tapes will be available.

• Speakers of sessions in December 12th: from 9:30 of the day • Speakers of sessions in December 13th: from 9:00 of the day

SHOTGUN PRESENTATION You are kindly requested to introduce your presentation briefly in 30 seconds to the audience. Please follow the instructions given by staffs there. Place: Seats for Speakers in the Main Hall. Please meet at,

• Session 1-A and 1-B: 11:00 on December 12th • Session 2-A and 2-B: 13:50 on December 12th • Session 3-A and 3-B: 11:00 on December 13th • Session 4-A and 4-B: 13:50 on December 13th

POSTER PRESENTATION Place: Session room in Ishikawa Industrial Promotion Center - Core Time: As instructed in the above tables, there are two slots in Poster Presentations. Speakers of odd-numbered posters are required to stand by the poster board in the 1st slot. Speakers of even-numbered posters are required to stand by the poster board in the 2nd slot.

- Poster board: You will be provided with a board that is 210cm tall and 90cm wide. A table (65cm tall and depth 40cm) is also provided in front of the board. - Materials: You can exhibit materials on the table, or set a laptop computer to demonstrate. Please note no electrical outlet is available for the computer. There are no services for making posters, receiving, storing, or sending back poster - Best Presentation Award Your performances in Shotgun and Poster Presentation will be scored for the Best Presentation Award judged by Moderators. The winners will be awarded in the Closing Ceremony. Moderators will visit to your display board. You explain the posters first briefly within one minute, and then answer to their questions. A time keeper is going along with them. OPEN DISCUSSION Place: Session room in Ishikawa Industrial Promotion Center After all poster presentations are finished, the moderators will call the audience and speakers for open-discussion. Please follow the instructions given by the moderators. CLEAN UP AFTER THE PRESENTATION You are responsible to removing the poster. Remaining posters will be thrown out. Thank you for your cooperation.
