Syphilis Summary• Primarily black, non-Hispanic males 20-29

years old• In 2013, 80% of syphilis cases in men who

were interviewed listed sex with men as one of their risk factors.

• In 2013, at least 50% of syphilis cases in males were co-infected with HIV.
