INTRODUCTION

MAX SAFETY is dedicated to help those who work at height and confined spaces. We provide: WORK & RESCUE training programs; consulting services regarding access and egress, rescue solutions and sales & inspection of PPE equipment and technical access & rescue products. Our WORK & RESCUE training program introduces modern procedures, concepts and best practice regarding safe work and rescue at height and confined spaces, according to the latest European and local legislation and guidelines. All our courses are tailor made, highly practical and customer based. Also they fit up to the demands of OSHAS and/or VCA to bring and keep a good level of safety awareness among management and operational employees. The courses will take place in our training center in Arnhem or at your location. Max Safety is a safety quality approved company, audited to ISO 9001 and VCA* 2008/05.

Work & Rescue at height course

Work & Rescue at height course ‘Wind Turbine Generator (WTG)‘

Entry requirements: a minimum age of 18, valid ID, reasonable

physical fitness and no contra indications for work at height,

experience is not required

This comprehensive 2 day course introduces candidates to all the techniques required to access the WTG and carry out their work safely and know what to do in case of emergency. The course is mainly practical and focuses on: current work at height legislation, selection and proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), inspection and maintenance of PPE, anchor points selection, risk assessment, method statements and rescue procedures, basic rescue techniques, suspention trauma and evaluation. On successful completion, the candidate is issued with a certificate of training which is valid for one year.

This comprehensive 3 day course introduces candidates to all the techniques required to access the WTG and carry out their work safely and know what to do in case of emergency. The course is mainly practical and focuses on: Current work at height legislation, selection and proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), inspection and maintenance of PPE, anchor points selection, risk assessment, method statements and rescue procedures, basic rescue techniques, suspention trauma, emergency response and evaluation. Emergency response focuses on: First Aid: consciousness-, respitatory- and circulation disorder, cardiopulmonaire resuscitation(CPR), bleedings, burn injuries, fractures, eye injuries, advanced rescue. Fire Awareness: Fire triangle and stadia, fire classes, hazardous substances, small fire extinguishers. On successful completion, the candidate is issued with a certificate of training which is valid for one year.
