CO-VER Engineering S.r.l.
CO-VER Power Technology, by capitalizing on its
experience, provides a comprehensive consultancy
service in the energy efficiency field offering
customized solutions based on the analysis of the
Client’s needs.
CO-VER Power Technology personnel works side by
side with the Client in developing the best way forward
for its business. It carries out energy audits, design
and implementation of efficiency improvements
(including ESCo mode), supervisory and operation
services, in order to pursue the goal of reduction of
energy consumption.

CO-VER Power Technology S.r.l.
CO-VER Power Technology was founded in 2006 to fill the role of the Energy
Service Company (ESCo) for the CO-VER group; in September 2015 CO-
VER Power Technology and its subsidiary CO-VER Engineering formed an
independent group.
CO-VER Power Technology know-how developed via the designing and
execution of projects for the CO-VER group’s workshops, developing EPC
contracts and eventually evolving into the designing of plants in ESCo mode
and the operation and maintenance of its own assets.
CO-VER Power Technology projects have ranged from industrial heat
engineering, cogeneration projects and renewable energy projects mainly for
energy intensive plants in the main industrial sectors (such as: rubber, paper,
glass, plastic and pharmaceutical industries).
The experience gained in the above activities has led to the acquisition of
comprehensive expertise in the fields of design, construction and plant
operation.

Investments at third parties – Operational Leasing
Construction of cogeneration/trigeneration plants, production of energy from renewable sources
and building of utility facilities
CO-VER Power Technology implements, under the ESCo system, investments aimed at increasing energy efficiency at the
Clients production site.
After careful consideration of the Client’s needs, CO-VER Power Technology offers the contractual form which best satisfies the
Client’s savings expectations. Contracts range from medium to long term agreements for energy distribution, optimization
measures, to proposals for operating leases.
Services offered include both the realization and management of high yield (CAR) cogeneration/trigeneration installations and
facilities for production and distribution of utilities such as chilled water, compressed air, cooling water, hot water/superheated,
steam, diathermic oil.

Design/construction of power plants and utilities
Basic and detailed engineering for thermal power plants, cogeneration/trigeneration, production
of energy from renewable sources; industrial heat engineering and heating plants.
Besides a turnkey solution, CO-VER Power Technology has ten years of engineering experience in basic and detailed design
in the process, mechanical, electrical instrumentation and automation fields.
CO-VER Power Technology has a team of technical and managerial personnel trained to support the Client during all phases
of project design from the initial authorization phase through process definition, preparation of purchase specifications, 3D
plant modelling and production of construction documents up to implementation of supervisory and control systems and
preparation of operation manuals for plant management.
Engineering services are based on field experience and market knowledge focused on supplying a high standard of
engineering to achieve shared goals with the Client.
Consolidating expertise also enables the turnkey implementation of complex plants for the production of energy and utility.

Owner Engineering and EPCM services
Consulting services for design of cogeneration/trigeneration plants and for production of
energy from renewable sources; industrial heating engineering.
CO-VER Power Technology has many years’ experience in the realization of turn key contracts, supporting
the customer in making complex systems also without the aid of a main contractor.
The Client can keep the whole process of implementation of its assets under control, from design to
equipment selection, from procurement to assembly, from commissioning to final testing.
CO-VER Power Technology staff also provide assistance with assembly supervision, factory and on-site tests,
testing and commissioning of equipment and commissioning of the Control Roome (DCS).

Operation & Maintenance
Operation and maintenance of thermal power plants, cogeneration/trigeneration plants and
industrial plants
CO-VER Power Technology offers medium/long-term contracts for operation supervision, management and maintenance of
thermal power plants, cogeneration/trigeneration plants and industrial plants in general.
Plant operators and mainteners of CO-VER Power Technology can make use of in-house staff skills and request field
assistance to implement supervisory systems to monitor energy consumption and to identify solutions aimed at optimizing
fuel consumption. CO-VER Power Technology also offers remote monitoring services and remote assistance, aimed at
supporting the Client's personnel involved in running the facilities.
Maintenance know-how, in addition to management activity, is based on the skills acquired at the owned assets, ranging
from routine activities to specialized operations such as maintenance of motor generators; in addition CO-VER Power
Technology offers maintenance of high voltage electrical substations (including periodic checks), carried out by its own
highly qualified personnel using specialist equipment.

Process modeling to define the actions required for energy efficiency, paperwork necessary
for obtaining Energy Efficiency Certificates (TEE)
CO-VER Power Technology, as an ESCo (accredited by the GSE, UNI CEI 11352: 2014), offers a complete service
including energy audits (pursuant to art. 8 of Legislative Decree no. 102/2014) , measurement campaigns, monitoring
systems, in order to identify necessary actions aimed at reducing energy costs, until the proposed activities relate to the
preparation of documentation for the application and management of paperwork for the GSE, in order to obtain the TEE for
subsequent commercial use.
The process begins with documentary and experimental analysis at the Client’s plant to record process data and associated
consumption.
The process continues with the study of potential improvement actions to reduce energy consumption based upon the
monitored data defining, with the Client, objectives and consequent actions to be taken in the light of technical and
economic feasibility studies.
CO-VER Power Technology also provides services for researching proposals for funding related to incentives for the
running of energy, supporting the customer during the application procedure in order to ensure the allocation of the
contributions.
