The Company

Eurofood is an Italian citrus processing company located in Capo d’Orlando. This area, on the northeastern corner of Sicily, is renowned for the unique quality and aroma of its citrus fruit.

What distinguishes Eurofood from its competitors is that we are the only company to process and bottle fresh Sicilian citrus juice in the same facility. This allows us to preserve all of the organoleptic and nutritional characteristics of the juice throughout the production process.

History The Ingrillì family, founder of Eurofood s.r.l., has a deep bond with its land and with Sicilian citrus fruits that has lasted for 5 generations.

Our story begins back in 1890 in Sicily, when farmers started to switch from silkworm cultivation to precious citrus groves. Giuseppe Ingrillì - the first generation of Ingrilli farmers - decided to become part of this new adventure by planting a completely new fruit - the lemon.

Giuseppe's children and grandchildren followed his footsteps and Giuseppe Ingrilli (3rd generation) was inspired to expand the company's offerings: he started to produce high-quality lemon juice in the family-owned production facility and sell the Sicilian lemon juice worldwide.

Years later, his son Dr. Francesco Ingrilli (4th Generation) broadened the business’ focus to organic products, becoming a market leader for organic Sicilian lemon juice. Meanwhile, the family kept expanding its facilities by investing in the latest production equipment. Our aim was to deliver the highest-quality, freshest products on the market while reducing the company’s environmental footprint.

Today, we bottle the lime, blood orange, orange, mandarin, and grapefruit juice in the same production facility in Capo d’Orlando,all while following the same strict high-quality standards of thelemon juice production.

Thanks to this long history of innovation and research, we are now able to use our 5 generations of experience to create exceptionalproducts and share them with the world.

Today, Eurofood is recognized as one of the leading citrus companies in Italy. We are now equipped with 28 juice extractors and 9 filling lines for finished and industrial products, and we have 3 facilities, one of which is devoted exclusively to the organic line.

Product Range Conventional

Limochef is a modern take on a beloved classic.

Limochef lemon and Limochef lime are made with juice

from concentrate, combining the price affordability of a

ready-to-use juice with the convenience of sizes ranging

from 100ml to 5L. This makes it the ideal choice for

retail, catering and foodservice.

Our juice is pasteurized and free from sugar or dyes

Limochef is recommended for garnishing first and second

courses, for flavoring salads and desserts, and for adding

an extra kick to fruit and drinks. It is also recommended

in the preparation of sauces, glaze, lemonade and tea.

Product Range Conventional Premium

All the unique taste of ready-to-use lemon and lime juice,

with an extra kick of flavor.

The fresh flavor of our lemon and lime juices is enhanced with

a drop of cold-pressed essential oil placed inside the cap. This

intensifies the aroma of the juice, while the original open and

close system also guarantees freshness of the product.

Lemonplus is ideal for serving salads, fish, meat and fruit, as

well as for preparing delicious sauces, cakes, hot and cold

drinks, lemonade and tea. Similarly, the lime juice is perfect

for giving an exotic touch to your dishes and cocktails.

The entire Lemonplus line is made from 100% natural juices,

never from concentrate, and without the addition of sugar,

water or dyes.

Eurofood is a pioneer in organic farming since

1994 and one of the European leaders in this field.

Our products have all the unique taste of ready-to-

use Sicilian lemon juice and lime juice from

organic farming.

Freshly squeezed and never from concentrate,

Lemonplus Bio is the only organic lemon juice to

be squeezed and bottled in Sicily, bringing all the

natural aroma of Sicilian lemons from our farm to

your table.

Our natural and organic lime juice is obtained only

from the finest freshly-squeezed Mexican and

Brazilian limes.

Lemonplus Bio – Lime is an excellent alternative to

fresh lime, ideal for giving an exotic touch to your

dishes and cocktails.Capacity: 250ml, 500ml, 1L

The unique taste of Sicilian Lemon Juice blended with

Ginger or Bergamot Juice from organic farming for

extra health benefits and a fresh, citrus-packed kick.

Lemon, Ginger and Bergamot mutually enhance their

benefits thanks to the combination of their many active

ingredients, antioxidants and vitamin C.

Bergamot is rich in Polyphenols which have strong

antioxidant effects and helps reducing cholesterol.

Ginger has purifying effects and immune-boosting

properties, it’s anti-inflammatory and regulates

digestion and metabolism.

For a more pungent and spicier kick of flavor, Ginger

• Eurofood has a wastewater treatment as big as a city of 40,000 people

• Purified water is not conveyed directly to the sea but to the municipal

treatment plant

Responsibility

Sustainability Project 2022

To play our part in the war on plastic waste,

Eurofood is carrying out the project of switching

all PE plastic of our bottles to PET plastic

composed by 50% recycled material before the

end of 2022.

This means we will be significantly reducing the

impact of virgin plastic by over 300 tons per

year*.

Our new 200ml 50% R-PET bottle weighs only 11.2g,

of which only 5.6g of virgin plastic, against the 19g of

the PE one.
