How to Add Fade-‐In Animation https://prezi.zendesk.com/entries/22388523-‐Fade-‐in-‐animation
• Log into Prezi. • Select a Prezi and click edit. • You may only add animation within a frame. If you want to animate something that is not already within a
frame you will have to add a frame around the element.
1. Within Edit Mode, click Edit Path on the bottom left-‐hand side of the Prezi editor.
2. Click the star symbol to the left of the frame that you want to animate. (If you do not see the star appear, it may be because your canvas is locked. To unlock it, click the padlock icon that appears to the right of your screen.
3. Once the animation wizard has appeared, click on the element that you want to fade in. A number will appear in a green star icon to the top-‐left of the element. That number corresponds to the order in which that element will fade in to your frame.
4. To preview how the various elements of the frame will appear as they fade in, click the Play triangle at the top-‐right of the animation wizard window.
5. If you are not happy with the order in which your elements are fading in, click the 'Reset' button located in the top-‐left corner of the animation wizard window. This will remove all animations from your chosen frame.
6. When you are happy with your animations, click the 'Done" button in the top-‐right corner.
Note: You can fade in multiple items of content at once if you place them in a group. To group items: go to the canvas, select an object you wish to add to a group, then hold down the ctrl (command on Macs) key and click on all other objects you wish to add to the group. Click group.] However, if you later group new content with any of the elements that you have previously animated, the new content will not fade in with those elements. You have to reset the animation and redo it.
