Home Learning Activities Week Beginning 06/07/2020 P A L M A R S H Continue to practise up to 6 of the words from the Year 1 and 2 or Year 3 and 4 that you are finding a bit tricky. You could do coloured writing (use different coloured pens), pyramid writing (first letter of word on top line, then first 2 letters of word on second line and continue until last line has the whole word spelt out) , timed writing ( how many times can you write one of the words correctly in 30 seconds? Complete the 3 minute finger spelling challenge! List any questions you wish to ask your new teacher next year? What would you like to know? Write down anything that is worrying you so your teacher can answer it and put your mind at rest! Sugared mice. At school on Friday we had great fun making sugar mice. Have a go, they tasted great!! Create a self- portrait of yourself. You could just use pencils or paint or pieces from magazines and newspaper to make your work more abstract. See examples below. Try to read for at least 20mins a day. Find the most unusual way to read a book! Complete the all about me transition booklet so your new teacher can learn all about you and your likes, dislikes, strengths and achievements.
