Printgroove JT Man 5 is Konica Minolta’s software solution for Make-Ready, Print Workflow Automation and profes-sional Output Management. It is optimised for use in CRDs and in-house printshops of public organisations, universi-ties and corporations, and provides essential functionality to minimise costs and maximise return on investment.

ESSENTIAL TOOL TOOPTIMISE PRINT OUTPUT

Using a job-ticket based print workflow, Printgroove JT Man 5 provides customers with a tool for the easy and convenient ordering of print products. Print providers can route print jobs via the intranet directly from the source application to the printshop. There they can choose from a wide range of intelligent print functions to administrate all incoming jobs. Powerful make-ready functionality is included for professional job editing.

Printgroove JT Man 5 gives print providers and CRD managers an efficient template feature. Operators only need to set up templates once and make great time savings on repetitive pre-press work forever after. Offering unified print room management, Printgroove JT Man 5's digital front end integrates all output devices. With product-based job processing, print jobs are routed to connected devices as specified in the predefined templates.

ESSENTIAL TOOL TOOPTIMISE PRINT OUTPUT

KEY FEATURES Unified print room management

– Configuration editor: The settings of printers, media,

products and services can all be changed in a single window.

– Dashboard: The newly integrated dashboard helps keep track of orders and outstanding tasks. The calendar shows the orders by delivery date, order date, or print volume. An overview of recent and new orders as well as orders in progress is also provided.

– Status tracking: Informing customers that their order has arrived and advising them of the print job status is easy. Operators simply choose from a list of work steps and corresponding status types that they want to work with. All they need to do is create a suitable e-mail message for each one. The messages are then gener-ated and sent to customers automatically.

– PDF workflow: This provides enhanced processing speeds compared with previous JT Man versions, which were based on DPML.

General

– MIS/ERP integration: Print data can be exported from the application to MIS and ERP systems via a CSV file.
