Brothers, I do not consider that I have made it my own. But one thing I do: forgetting what lies

Examine yourselves, to see whether you are in the faith.

Test yourselves. Or do you not realize this about yourselves, that Jesus Christ is in you?—unless indeed you fail to meet the test!

Why were you re-created?

To be God’s kind of person

For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own

doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast. For we

are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God

prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them. (Ephesians 2:8-10 ESV)

and he died for all, that those who live might no

longer live for themselves but for him who for their

sake died and was raised. (2 Corinthians 5:15 ESV)

So whether we are at home or away, we make it our

aim to please him. (2 Corinthians 5:9 ESV)
