The sea is her home
After working stormy northern European fishing
waters for 40 years, the Eldorado has been newly
rebuilt as a sailing vessel by her current owner, Jan
van Klaveren. Starting as a rough sea fishing cutter,
she is now an elegant two-mast gaff sail schooner
as seaworthy as ever! May 2012 marked the return
of the Eldorado from dry dock to the sea that is
her home.

Schooner Eldorado
Nearly 40 meters long and strong enough to sur-
vive 40 years of rough weather in northern waters,
the Eldorado design makes most dream destina-
tions possible. Add to that her interior arrange-
ments, saloon, bar and outdoor terrace, you will
enjoy luxurious comfort and amenities. Private
quarters include seven air conditioned large berth
sleeping cabins with a shower and a toilet in every
cabin.
Dining and diving
Our destinations, or the destinations you plan,
allow our customers to choose from a wide range
of activities. On shore cultural activities might in-
clude exploring museums or enjoying fine dining.
Alternately, use Eldorado as your platform for fun
and relaxation. Use the ship for diving adventures
in the local waters. You can sail our dingy. Or com-
pletely relax on the ship’s covered sun terrace. Pic-
ture yourself with your favorite drink, your favorite
food, your favorite music, all while surrounded by
Mallorca’s crystal clear waters. What could be bet-
ter?
There are also plenty of opportunities to engage
your nautical legs. You can help hoist the sails,
navigate or steer .

Eldorado is certified for a global circumnavigation,
her navigation area spreads from 70 degrees north
to 70 degrees south. As our customer or as a
sponsor, we invite you to tell us your dreams.

Sailing areas in 2012/2013
Autumn 2012: In September 2012 Eldorado will
sail south from Germany along the coasts of the
Netherlands, Belgium, France and Portugal, around
Gibraltar, towards Mediterranean Spain and
France.
Winter 2012/2013: Eldorado will be navigating
the Mediterranean, along the Baleares, Corsica,
Sardinia. She will be sailing the Spanish and French
Coasts, as well as southern Italy, including Sicily.
Spring 2013: Eldorado will be sailing again along
the European cost, northward, where she will at-
tend highlighted events, the Hafengeburtstage in
Hamburg, in may 2013 as well as the Kieler Woche
in Kiel in june 2013.
